Looking forward to this throughout the year. I found his weekly analysis tough but fair.

We need to enjoy this guy as long as we have him. He'll be moving on to bigger and better things relatively soon, I would think.

Nice analysis. One thing about our defense last year, I thought we "overload" blitzed too much and too predictably. When we played OSU we either got there, or they were able to audible to the opposite side of the pressure. Northwestern was all over these blitzes too, but handled them by running Counters away from the pressure for big gains. Ideally, with better play in the secondary and maybe some growth on the part of Allen, I'd like to see more of these blitzes come into the QB's face. Sure, we'll give up some seam routes and crossing patterns over the middle of the field, where vacated LB's were, but it's a harder play/post snap read for a young QB. Too many times the offenses audibled to plays back side.
