Seems Europe decided that burning trees is green. Somehow, they decided that when you burn a tree and release all that carbon dioxide it eventually is returned to wood when new trees grow. Of course they are ignoring it takes 75-150 years for the trees to regrow......and we will all be dead by as the earth will be inhabitable.
So now they are importing huge amounts of wood from the US to burn. Massive plants grinding up trees in the US. Huge forests being decimated. Wood ......er .....’biomass’. (If you give it some techno-jargon name you can claim it is environmental) is now a bigger supplier of energy in Europe than wind and solar a COMBINED!
Some day.....far , far in the future......scientists will study prog brains to try to figure out just how they worked.
