He's keeping a low profile, especially since he demanded that Franklin should be fired because the long snapper sent one sailing over Gilliken's head and Gilliken had to chase it and fall on it.Probably hear less of his racist/prejudice-driven thoughts on Franklin for a while (at least), but he's probably still disappointed we didn't hire Al Golden.

I would like to think that it isn't a case of racism. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Remember that he was banned for his tirade against Butler after the IU debacle and was highly critical of Joe for hiring Jay. He admitted that yesterday in the Jay article thread. He just has a thing for coaches.
1) I don't go there often and don't have the evidence you do.Perhaps, but:
1) I know him from the test board where he hides it less.
2) He was anti-Franklin from day-1 (when it was nothing short of amazing that we were able to land a coach at hot as Franklin at the time).
3) Saying bad things about Butler that day we got crushed by IU, and being critical of Joe hiring Jay aren't exactly indicators of anything other than being able to spot the obvious.
Whoever ThyrstyPhyrsty was was banned after this loss to IU in 2013:O.K., I'm slow. So peetz pool boy and thyrsty phyrsty are the same person? If so, are both accounts active?

Only in thecoolestfish's cannabis-clouded existence would he get so confused as to suggest that a poster (me) who adamantly favored Jim Caldwell to succeed Bill O'Brien is somehow racist/prejudiced.
A great win vs. OSU last night for the players, fans and assistant coaches (especially Moorhead, Limegrover, Pry and Spencer) with the latter group collaboratively getting the team ready to play. That, coupled with some long-overdue breaks, made Franklin appear to be a much better coach than is deserved.
My dislike of Franklin as a coach (not a person) is unchanged following yesterday. He's just not a very good X's and O's football coach, which in my opinion, is a prerequisite for sustained success. Some of you are perplexingly now ready to anoint him as the second-coming of Nick Saban. Me, not so fast.
We're going to learn a lot about this team as they go on the road for 3 of the next 4 games and we're going to learn a lot about Franklin near the end of the season when Moorhead and Pry are deservedly offered Head Coaching positions elsewhere.

He was apoplectic over the performance. Many were. The PSU D was horrible and the O underachieved against a lousy IU D. At the time, many posters were calling it either the worst or one of the worst losses in PSU history. It was after a bye week for PSU and the team did seem woefully unprepared. I, personally, think it was O'Brien's worst loss. TP just went a little far with it that night. Actually, several posters went ballistic.

It was epic. Speaking of epic, where is Bushwood, uh ... I mean FRTT? He should be real happy today.Thanks. I missed his implosion.
