Anything involving Ian McShane automatically gets my attention, but this seems kind of interesting. I'm going to keep my eye out for this and give it a try.

It will be an interesting show! Just see what Joel Murray (Bill's brother) scene was like! Talk about a snapper! Lol
Read the book years ago. I have no idea how it will translate to the screen.

Same. Gaiman is one of my favorite writers and American Gods is really his masterpiece. I've heard great things about the show and the cast is wonderful (McShane, Gillian Anderson, Emily Browning, Kristin Chenowith, Pablo Schrieber, etc.). Don't have STARZ so have to figure out how I can watch - don't want to subscribe for just one show...
If you have Apple TV etc you can get the app for free for a week and then $8.99/ month Lots of other good shows there I have never seen.
Did not read the book, but watched episode 1 last night. Should be a good one to watch as the plot develops and unfolds.
