I like seeing who goes where and I like seeing the pick announcement (although they should be more creative than just having Goodell do it every time) but I don't like the nonsense and hype between picks. So my strategy is to turn the volume down low enough so that I can hear it but not so loud that it distracts me and do other stuff and then when they say the next pick is coming, turn it up and watch, and then turn it back down afterwards.

Yes, along with the Phils, NHL & NBA playoffs, and of course the replay of the Zurich Classic. OK, j/k about the last one.

NOPE!
Until Brady retires/Pats dominance is up, the NPL will remain a redundant joke of itself!

I'll see if I can make it through the first round without falling asleep. I think last year I made it to like pick 18, and that was with the adrenaline of Barkley getting drafted.

Won't watch it all, but will check in to see where our guys are taken. Plus, I have a little interest in who the Steelers and Giants take.

Oh yes. I’m a draft nik from way back. I probably have watch at least the first round, if not through the 3 rounds going back 35+!years.

I have always enjoyed the intrigue and the suspense of how teams draft. I find it interesting how teams evaluate each player and come to different conclusions.

I absorb as much draft info as I can and time allows every year. Mock drafts, podcasts, and different articles. It just something that I’ve always enjoyed.

I have said before that I have a buddy who is an area scout and has told a lot of the behind scenes stuff with the process and what goes on draft day.

So yes I’m excited and typing this from my couch watching the pre draft show.

When it was the 2 day weekend draft, a bunch of us got together, watched the draft some, drank some beers and ordered pizzas to be delivered (probably by some Pitt grad). We would go outside and toss the football around in between our discussions inside regarding what we thought about the picks. It was a fun time.

But with the new format, I could care less. I watch something else on TV and check the draftboard on my iPad once in awhile.

Nashville rocking this week with the draft.

Nashville Marathon is Saturday morning.

Jimmy Buffet concert downtown Saturday night.

Preds lost or game 7 in round one would have been last night.

It takes way too long to get the picks in. Once the Raiders are done I am tuning out.

And my dog dragged into the house a heart of some four legged medium sized animal critter covered with maggots (deer or rendered cow from slurry). Wife not happy as the kitchen floor was littered with maggots.

Corso is done.

He's the new Dick Clark. Gotta stop trotting him out there. His best moment was sitting there with the Haskins head on when he couldn't talk. When the 2 guys took the head off for him, it looked like he had no idea where he was.

Is there some reason why the first pick should not be made immediately? Have they not had enough time to think about it?

Mike Ditka could call up and offer to trade every single draft pick for the #1 pick in that 10 minutes.

Hey, cment, life doesn't get any better than that. Lord forgive them, for they know not what they do. Many decades ago when our kids were little, our family dog would bring deer legs by the dozen and plant them, legs up around the house. The kids are going to be this summer 51 & 49 yrs old. To this day, we all still miss our Flassey.
