Yes, the WAND video shows the pin from directly across Martinez's shoulders (from behind Nolf). Before this angle, I had not noticed that Nolf used his legs to trap Martinez's left arm. Both arms trapped, knee in the neck ... ouch.

The Miller article is, shall we say, interesting. I hope his coach didn't really mean what he said, otherwise he is a caveman. If you are injured to he point of needing a wheelchair, then you have no business wrestling no matter how tough you are. At that level of injury, it's the coach's job to protect you from that if necessary, not push you harder.

“Two years ago he would have been wheeled off in a wheelchair with that,” Kent State coach Jim Andrassy said. “So he's gotten tougher, but it's hard because Ian is a dynamic wrestler. When he has injuries, he isn't in his dynamic and struggles with his wrestling, so for him to just learn how to win matches like that is big.
