We are what we are. No way to really tell where we are until we play.

• Other than perhaps the OL, a lot of guys played today. Obviously a lot of mistakes were made, coaches included. ASU executed well, so that means we'll have a lot of good film on a lot of players this week.
• The kids won't think they are better than they are (despite their 4 or 5 stars as recruits). They'll know they have to prepare and execute against everybody on the schedule. The younger kids will know that they can come back when down. (The older ones already know this.)
• The coaches have plenty of material to help decide who should see more playing time.
• Tough game, but will pay dividends. 1-0 is good after one game.

And finally: Off field behavior matters. You can really hurt the team by getting yourself suspended. Today it showed.

When did they give off that they are better then they are? This team is a young team that will get better, but I don't know if they are Big Ten championship good. They miss 3 huge talents on offense and some talent on D. That is a lot to make up.
