Let me know when.
Should have been. Not sure why it wasn’t.I only saw about ten minutes, mostly Warner and Cass, but the Nebraska guy against Warner threw his head gear at the end, shouldn’t that be a team point deduction?
This year, Cal Baptist, Penn, Illinois, Northwestern.Let me know when.
It must have been really bad as it looks like the thread was deleted.Sounds like there was some serious post match hostilities last night in Iowa.
Apparently it was so bad that Terry actually tried to be a voice of reason, lol.
It's in the Nebby Grades post.

"Moran" is an HR inside joke. I'd find other evidence for Grip -- which is about as difficult as grenade fishing.Grip with a post of the year entry:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again regarding Tom and terry:Sounds like there was some serious post match hostilities last night in Iowa.

Just once I want to watch one of the bigger coaches they goad just pick one of them up and chuck them into a dumpster
Sort of like a wrestling version of this.Just once I want to watch one of the bigger coaches they goad just pick one of them up and chuck them into a dumpster

Jesse The Body Ventura. And this is the accompanying image.
For years, no one knew who this dude was, but I think we’ve all since figured it out.
Not who I was implicating, but that’s funny, too. 👍🏻Jesse The Body Ventura.
That's like his schtick. He spells Moran like that constantly--it must amuse him a lot.Grip with a post of the year entry:

We need to start a GoFundMe for tickets behind the Iowa bench at B10s and nationals ...Just once I want to watch one of the bigger coaches they goad just pick one of them up and chuck them into a dumpster

Oh, the anticipation that one or more of the Ferraris could add to that turd stew brewing in Iowa City.

Haven't seen comments on Steveson's punch, but I didn't read the play by play thread so maybe it was discussed there. The ref awarded Cassioppi a point but that could've been an ejection.
WTF is an open handed punch lmao. Thinking Vodka works for MSNBC fake news. To most of us it’s a slap or aggressive tie up, punch
I guess when you drink that much vodka you can make up your own definitions.Isn't that actually a "slap"? I believe part of the definition of a punch is a closed fist, no?

Let me guess - Lord Spencer should have free rein to tear up anyone’s rotator cuff by dint of his godlike statusOy vey, they're having a mental breakdown on the official. With only two takedowns, you would think there may be some self-reflection, but alas.
That’s dramatic. The ref obviously was focused on calling PD. He called PD when Levi had Siebrecht almost in neutral danger and it was a bad call. Levi could have scored there.Let me guess - Lord Spencer should have free rein to tear up anyone’s rotator cuff by dint of his godlike status
I’m cool with both of those calls.. sometimes they are unfortunate for our guys but it’s better than a kid getting a season or career ending injury every day of the week. That’s dramatic. PD is for wussies!Spencer runs "chicken-wing" series. Rarely is he above the elbow. It should be routinely stopped as PD.
On Thursdays FRL, Ben Askren said that that turn of Spencer's should be stopped for being potentially dangerous. Found it funny that this ref had same thoughts as Askren. That’s dramatic. Experience doesn’t mean he wasn’t wrong.JR is one of the more experienced refs we have in div 1
you are correct sir! but it does mean he is leaning the correct way most of the time, especially on such PD calls and positioning...Experience doesn’t mean he wasn’t wrong.
Same. The worst-case scenario is not acting in time. He was protecting Levi’s already wrapped knee in that situation.I’m cool with both of those calls.. sometimes they are unfortunate for our guys but it’s better than a kid getting a season or career ending injury every day of the week.
When I look at @Cstroke picture, I expect these kind of reasoned, cautious thoughts.I’m cool with both of those calls.. sometimes they are unfortunate for our guys but it’s better than a kid getting a season or career ending injury every day of the week.
You're right but I put stock in Ben's opinion on things especially when it comes to things on the mat..technique..rules..etc. etc.Experience doesn’t mean he wasn’t wrong.
