at NW campus today - a couple interesting experiences

Umm yaa it's common sense and common courtesy to hold the door for anybody behind you. It's pretty rude to just let the door slam shut in their faces. This women sounds little crazy if she didn't know that or the biggest bizzzsnatch in the world.

I will also say this-there are people who don't extend the courtesy back. Most notably younger women -less than 40- who don't have the common courtesy to say "thank you" when the door is held open.

Just a gripe I have I guess.
After which you simply say "You're Welcome" with a smile. Most usually will then respond with "I'm sorry. Thank You", but not always.

saw Fitz having breakfast with a couple dudes looking like recruits.

then held the door for a young woman (probably around 35) and she said just go ahead man - don't need your help. total bitch.

It goes without saying probably, but you didn't hold the door open for her as much as just because you are a man and a gentleman.

Retired and been driving a school bus for a few years. First rule I teach the middle school boys when I pull up to the stop - girls first! So funny to watch cause they bitch and moan for a week and then they start self policing and I don't have to say a word.

Well, if he had a way of getting her email address he could have sent her this. I wonder if it would have ruffled her feathers.

This thread reminds me of something I read once about Wawa......

It's the one place where everyone holds the door for each other and also run each other over trying to get out of the parking lot.

It means that she didn’t have an effective father figure in her life to teach her basic thoughtfulness.

So a mother can’t teach her that?

Or her mom is getting ****ed by another man who is not her fathers therefore she didn’t say thankyou?

I don’t know whether her mom could or could not do so. I only know that she didn’t.

And her dad, if he was around, wasn’t worth a damn.

Maybe she is just an a$$hole? Maybe you know nothing about her. Maybe the OP misunderstood
