To that end, the one moderator on the national CFB board is an Auburn guy and he is complaining that the refs gave the game to PSU (and he is serious). If their fans watched the game and don't agree the officiating was seriously tilted in their favor then I have no sympathy for them at all
Would like to have some of what that dude is smoking...To that end, the one moderator on the national CFB board is an Auburn guy and he is complaining that the refs gave the game to PSU (and he is serious).

I presume he wanted a PI call on Brisker for that uncatchable balloon ball in the end zone on 4th down ?To that end, the one moderator on the national CFB board is an Auburn guy and he is complaining that the refs gave the game to PSU (and he is serious).

that or the PI that gave us a 1st down. at least one of those was likely a makeup call for the refs somehow not counting downs in the 1st half. And then actually talking about it and announcing that it was really 4th down (it was not)
Auburn got lucky it wasn’t a 2-3 score game. The officiating was crazy bad.Meltdown on kicking a field goal on fourth and one.

So... they drag our receiver down after obviously impeding his route.. No flag.
Our defender is looking around d trying to make a play on the ball. Pass interference....
screw u
On top of the BS targeting call that gave them a TD.
WTF. I don't mind losing a legit game. This was shitty to watch. Refs threw a close game.
We have been on the receiving end of this, and I disliked it just as much. I'm going to bed.
We should have won this game.
They didn’t like the targeting call ?
The one thing I can say is that they call it every time a defender tackles with his head down, even if, as we saw last week, the ball carrier lowers the crown of his helmet.
The targeting call didn't matter in the scheme of things. They didn't lose a DL or LB, whom were in on their last few stands. The ball at the 1 or 1 1/2 yard line was happening regardless. The stoppage killed our momentum.
That place is a cess pool. And the moderator? Give me a break.

To claim the Smith PF penalty was the result of illegal contact would be about the same thing as saying nursing home caregivers are assaulting their patients on an hourly basis. The play in the end zone with Brisker defending was shown multiple times. You don't even need slow motion to see that the Auburn WR initiates contact by pulling on the PSU DB's arm. Then he pops up and starts looking for a flag. They must have a great acting/theater program at Auburn, because between that WR and Nix (on the Smith 'late hit') they have some great actors on that team.
Not going for it on 4th and 1 at the beginning of the 4th quarter and then throwing that Donovan/Rahne-esque fade on 4th and goal at the 2 were some of the dumbest offensive calls they could have made. Their o-line was winning throughout the 2nd half and Harsin took the ball out of their hands.
there was another blatant offensive PI by Auburn that they let go.The play in the end zone with Brisker defending was shown multiple times. Total cases of outthinking themselves. bet bigsby scores I’d they hand it to him.Not going for it on 4th and 1 at the beginning of the 4th quarter and then throwing that Donovan/Rahne-esque fade on 4th and goal at the 2 were some of the dumbest offensive calls they could have made. Auburn played a tough game but I lost a little respect for their coach on these two plays you mention. It can't be a coincidence that Nix goes down like a ton of bricks at the slightest touch out of bound and then they draw up a fade on 4th down and obviously try to draw a PI call by grabbing our defender and both falling down. Those were clearly coached/planned. Just play big boy football and stop the theatre dramatics. The play in the end zone with Brisker defending was shown multiple times. NOT a safety. As long as any part of the ball touches the goal line there is no safety
except that the photo shows it is not a safety. wtf
