Audrey Snyder trying to dissuade fans from coming to PSU playoff game.

Pretty sure, unless I missed one, every tweet was from a parent not a student who actually requested tickets.
Audrey isn't going to convince anyone not to go. Those that don't go won't want to pay the price, sit in the cold, make the drive, etc. Or maybe they believe we'll win and would rather travel for the game on NYE. Or maybe they just prefer watching at home. Audrey's not influencing anything.

Not the students! The people on this board typing all that conspiracy nonsense!

Saying a reporter is reporting negative information that is utterly false (and student after student responds to the supposed "journalist" that she is utterly wrong in her false assertion) is now a "conspiracy"? You're a real piece of work.... better known as a douche. You clearly aren't a fan of PSU, but you're here to lecture PSU fans - why don't you take your sorry midwestern douche @as back to Kansas Dorthy?

Dude I am a PSU grad and super fan. Raised in western PA. and still live here. It gets old hearing grown men making excuses for loses.

Take your victories like a adult and take your losses like an adult. Board full of snow flakes and victims.

Your post was originally defending Audrey Snyder's FALSE reporting, now you post this strawman lecture about a totally disparate topic..... You're a troll douchebag and your ever shifting of topics and lectures proves it. Good Lord, what an azzhole douche you are.

As a public service...

To put someone on ignore, mouse over their avatar and an information box will appear. Pull the mouse down into the box and click on the word "ignore" which is found in the lower left corner next to the word "follow".

No RichsrdHead, Audrey Snyder didn't say a word about wins or losses you raging f'ing moron troll. She reported utterly FALSE information about student ticket allotment, and student demand for that allotment, of CFP Playoff Game Tickets for the PSU vs SMU game on 12/21/2024 (in an attempt to demean the students support of PSU's program). Try to stay on topic douche-nozzle.

Deep breathing will help those temper tantrums. So a professional journalist is plotting against the student section of a football stadium. Tin foil bro! 😂

"Plotting against" - no dip$hit, publishing false information isn't "plotting". Stupid and an azzhole - what a charmer.

#1 If you’re going to basically say that students don’t give an f about the game then you better be accurate. If not correct it immediately.

#2 In her other post about the expensive hotels in SC basically telling people to not bother coming to the game if you still need a hotel.

Instead wouldn’t it be nice if she actually added some value for fans, for maybe other sites/towns where they can find affordable hotels. Like maybe try Altoona, Tyrone, or Johnstown if you can’t afford the State College hotel price tag.

Especially with the fact that Beaver Stadium isn’t sold out. We want as many fans in State College/Beaver Stadium as possible.

I hope Franklin says something about this.

It's a noon game, most people don't need a hotel to go to the game.

And should there be inclement weather, it is nice to not be forced to return home the same day due to there being no rooms available at the inn.

Used to have season tickets for more than 20 years, the vast majority of PSU fans would do a noon game same-day travel in-&-out as hotels require a Fri & Sat reservation and have always been extremely expensive. For the night games, many would simply drive in day-of and then drive out of town and stay at a hotel on their route home. But for a noon game, the vast majority do not use hotels. This is obviously an issue for SMU fans, not PSU fans.

Guess I’m the only PSU fan staying in a hotel.

This is not true guys, countless students who wanted tickets didn’t get them.
Proof, or it never happened. Tweets, especially secondhand, don't count as evidence. I will accept a screenshot of an email from athletics with a statement like "your request could not be fulfilled".

Otherwise, I am going to chalk it up to confused morons who never submitted the request correctly (including putting a credit card on file), haven't checked said credit card for a pending charge, or don't understand that student tickets won't show in the Ticketmaster account until up to 48 hours before gametime.

I have done the same day travel in the past for a noon game as well.

Just not at the end of December. The combination of it being virtually the shortest day of the year from an available daylight standpoint and my own eyesight that is not what it once was particularly at night and on a wet surface.

I suspect that there will be some additional Christmas travelers on the interstates also as the game is very close to the holidays.

I hope that the weather is accommodating for those attending and these concerns are all non-issues.

48 hours before game time is moronic.

whatever the issue is when countless people are complaining either something went wrong with the system or the process is shitty. Blaming the consumer is a great strategy.

Is your first name Thomas?

I did notice that none of the 'X' users were blue checks and verified. But that seems like a lot of people who took the time to post to further perpetrate a hoax.

JMO.

You said it’s not an issue for PSU fans.

It isn't by-and-large.... Thousands of PSU fans will be in State College without a ticket and looking for one - not all of them will find tickets. PSU fans will fill whatever tickets are available on gameday - if you don't believe that, you're just delusional and are not really a season ticket holder.

And what does this have to do with PSU fans regarding hotels?

And what does this have to do with PSU fans regarding hotels?

It has to do with my original statement genius - hotels are not an issue for the VAST MAJORITY of PSU fans. Hotel availability will not effect PSU's fan support or the game being an all-time attendance record - there will be PSU fans at the game site looking for tickets that will ultimately not find one. Hotel availability will be a huge issue for SMU fans

First, there are not alot of people claiming that. I saw less than two handfuls on Audrey's post. Certainly not 5,000+!!!

Next, there are clearly people on there playing the telephone game, and parroting the dramatic thing that they saw someone else say. That includes a few mommies with children who are probably the aforementioned morons.

I am consistently hearing that the conspiracy stuff is just that. I will agree that just posting the tickets into the students' accounts now will mitigate some confusion, but I suspect that maybe has something to do with the rule that they can't be sold/transferred to another student, which is also bogus.

the game being an all-time attendance record - there will be PSU fans at the game site looking for tickets that will ultimately not find one.

Do you think we break the all time attendance record from OSU game? Tons of tickets available on Ticketmaster right now. Love to see it packed like that for this game, but we aren't there yet.
