Anyone else hate the roughing the passer call on Lawrence of the Giants in 4th quarter?
I think that’s probably better for the Eagles. Get the Gints instead of Dallas next week
I saw one of the worst effort plays ever peeking in on the game with about 13 min left in 4th. 3rd and 8 pass to Hockenson and he’s getting stopped 3 yards short if 30 for the Giants does anything more than tap him on the shoulder. He just stands there as his teammates are trying to gang tackle and Hockenson gets pushed almost to a 1st down. Vikings jumped offside and had to kick a FG anyway, but still.

That was as bad as the calls against Cam Heyward the past couple weeks. Actually with the time of the playoff game, it wax probably worse. Hate the effing league.
It's great to see Saquon rebound from his injuries and have a solid season that took the Giants to the second round of the playoffs/ He is still fun to watch.
It was awful as he still had the ball in hand. Some calls make you wonder sometimes.
Jones played lights out. Barkley looked great.... Was a competitive game... Enjoyed watching it.
I may be in the minority but if I was the Eagles I'd rather play the Cowboys or Bucs (not convinced Dallas wins that game). Daboll is very underrated and will have a great game plan against the Eagles. Danny Dimes is way scarier than Dak Prescott right now IMO.
If Jones can play like that vs the Eagles the Giants have a shot at an upset.

Didn't the Giants backups give them a game in week 18? Or did Philly also play their backups?
That game was uncomfortably close for the Eagles vs the Giants 2nd and 3rd stringers. Heck, the Giants started their third string quarterback Webb.
Yeah, it was also cool to see Barkley on the sideline talking to the offensive line trying to pep them up.
Both are high quality individuals, too. Easy to root for. And I like the Giants Head Coach Daboll, also.
Agree...but I have to turn off my long-standing rules to root against any teams from NY, LA, SFO and Chicago. Those cities have had way too many championships to root for their teams.
Maybe, however the Giants seem to be peeking at the most opportunistic time.
Chicago has the fourth most number of sports championships of any city in the USA.

well, I made the statement and "a long time ago" was within my memory as a teen or adult. In that time, both the Bulls and Blackhawks had dynasty runs. And both the Sox and Cubs won WS.
You have to also remember that my point of reference is CLE who has won a single championship since 1948.
you can throw Pittsburgh in there with dynasties for the Steelers and Penguins with a couple of WS wins in there for the Pirates as well. But I grew up on western PA so don't hate them. Pittsburgh is the only small market team that has thrived in the free-agent era.
