Per HR post, not confirmed by me, Beazley will not compete. He popped out his elbow, right? Tough for Michigan

There were Big Ten 6 allocations at his weight. Schultz took 7th and got an at large, 8th was Chakonis from NU. No clue if it goes to him or the next best at large person.

Again, assuming the report is true. And he is a senior, so tough way to finish your career.

Will be orndorff UVU.Good thing no American or Mizzu guy was battling for that spot.American Ad on committee and they got 4 at large its a total joke
Smith on Committee also. For everyone that thinks theres a selection criteria thats all a front its a good ole boy network.6 people in a room cutting deals is what really happens

Glad its Orndorff. He's a NE WA kid. His brother is a Damn good heavy and will be the starter next year.

Well, I knew something bad went down, as when I was watching the finals on tv I saw one of the coaches for Wisconsin flinch and turn his back, as if not to look. Seconds later, his wrestler came into the corner-you could tell there was a break-and suddenly the match just ended, so I suspect that it was a pretty nasty injury.

Does it say explicitly in the NCAA regulations that the replacement wrestler cannot be from the same school as a wrestler already in the field? #FreeAnt #FanSince2009
Yes. The wrestler must compete in their qualifying event....the conference championships. Since the backup isn’t allowed to wrestle In conf tourney, they cannot wrestle in the NCAA. Hence the reason Syrians just took a starting whistle and defaulted out of BIGs last year so he could attempt to wrestle in NCAA

Opening goes back to the field, and becomes a selection from among the Bronze Standard wrestlers.

"Only the at-large qualifiers selected by the NCAA Wrestling Committee and those individuals listed on
the qualifiers list for the national championships from each qualifying
tournament will be allowed to compete. Replacements on the list are permitted until the established deadline. Replacements must be the next-best wrestler as determined by the NCAA Wrestling Committee and listed in order as alternates to the at-large qualifiers. There will be no replacements after noon Eastern time, Thursday, March 13."

So Roar, what was the purpose of Carson wrestling for 11/12 at Big Tens? I could see a true 10 but not much need for 11/12. Though he did get to end his collegiate career with a win.

Guessing it was simply protocol, as they normally would need to figure out that 11th guy (one removed from auto-qualifier). Of Jimenez, Cray, Kuhn, and McGinnis, it was highly unlikely any would be at-large.
