That said, I was fortunate (well kinda) to catch the last 20 some minutes and didn't know for some time that SC went out very early in the 2nd qtr and Roberson was the guy at the helm for basically 3 qtrs. [I'd been assuming it was closer to halftime... realizing we were up by 2 TD's that early on despite 2 ints was intriguing.]
IMO, to his credit, there was a drive where he looked like he was "getting it" and I hoped he could carry it thru til the end, but we kept getting pinned deep in the iowa scream zone and he never quite handled it.... nor, apparently, did the coaches.
Since I missed most of the post-game comments, I'll simply ask how the failure to adjust to the noise was addressed, Specifically, the guy on the tube was going nuts that we kept trying to use the clap for the snap when no one could hear sheiss. He said it was a simple fix and the coaches refused to make it happen.
I dunno as something that simple would seem to have been a slam dunk for any coach, so there had to be more to the story.
IF (big IF) anyone cares to provide a short summary of the matter, i'd appreciate it. If not... I get... yesterday's news lol.
FWIW, I've watched the game and if SC plays on we win something like 34-14. They never get the momentum, our D stays rested and making plays (as opposed to gassed due to 46 plays for 50 yards... can that actually be correct???), and we win going away (unless they convert picks into quick 6's).
Anyway.. Thanx.
