He would have had 33 seed Sheets next (who admittedly has been wrestling very well) Instead, Oklahoma State likely just gets the 5.5 points. Obviously this is all trivial in the grand scheme of thing ....
Its a brutal sport and Berge is a prime example of just how harsh it can be. He is a real trooper for just coming back from that head injury. Now this possibly and hoping its nothing major. Results are secondary when the health of a teammate is in the balance. One thing he and his family needs to know is that the Nittany Nation is behind him and will encourage and assist where ever it can and is wanted.
That's not true. He tried to dive out, but Dellavechia covered. As he covered, it looks like Berge's foot got caught in the mat maybe and the weight of Dellavechia diving on top took it in a bad direction. Dellavechia definitely didn't twist anything. You see that situation almost every match. Just a freak accident. Feel so bad for Berge.

And Sheets has been wrestling with an ACL injury himself. Apparently was supposed to have surgery on his knee before he found out he was in the field due to another wrestler WD.

I didn’t take it that way at all. Sheets would have had a hard time AAing no matter who the opponent was even though he was wrestling well.
Incredibly excited for Sheets, but hate that it happened because of injury. I hate to see any wrestler get injured and hopefully he has a speedy recovery.
Ah just making sure, I was not trying to downplay what Sheets did and hearing about his injury only further proves to me what a warrior he is.

Don't forget, things did not look good for Ed Ruth when he hurt his knee in 2011. He came back and took 3rd. I'm staying hopeful until we see otherwise.
It would be awesome to see Brady come out tonight and pick up a win and ultimately make AA.

I actually picked berge to make the semis, absolute bummer that this happened. Hope he comes back strong next year
As soon as I saw him reach out and grab Cael hand, I knew it wasn’t good. In my mind I can hear him apologizing, for getting hurt and not helping the team. Such a tough break for the kid.
