If somebody can grab a screenshot, this one is worth saving. Right after the 4th down stop to seal the game, the camera pans to a shot of a group of WI fans. The young guy in the bottom left portion of the screen looks like he’s choking on his own vomit. Priceless footage.

Please do not. I'm not a fan of turning fans of the game into memes to be circulated endlessly on FB, Twitter and social media to disparage a fan base. These are human beings, and to take a split second snapshot of someone's disappointed look, for the amusement of others, is quite pathetic. How would you like it if someone grabbed a screenshot of you on TV and turned it into a meme for the world to laugh at?

That was a great one...check out this highlight clip from ESPN at the 1:42 mark. Great game to attend

Like the kid at Rutgers flipping the bird to everyone on national tv...

I agree. The Wisconsin team and fans seemed like a class act. Let's respond in kind and be respectful. Now, if we were playing pitt, it would be a different story.

Wisconsin was a great opponent and their fans were amazing. Although I was exhilarated for PSU...I felt for their fans because of how they lost. It was fun for us to watch but probably heart wrenching for them--especially after paying the money and making arrangements to be there.

Really respected the Wiscy players and coach (although he is a little boring).

I also have a good deal of respect for the Wisconsin program and its fans, but I think this kind of things comes with the territory. The fan in question, like every other college football fan who attends a game at a football stadium, put himself out there in full public view, and certainly has no reasonable expectation that his elation in victory or anguish in defeat is gonna be exempt from the scrutiny of the camera lens.

Moreover, imagine if the Michigan Surrender Cobra picture had never been taken or circulated. The Schadenfreude deficit would be ginormous.

When I read the title, I was wondering if someone grabbed a good crowd shot of the Pen State crowd. While I feel that Fox did an above average job covering the game, I feel like they never provided a good panoramic of the entire stadium to give a good perspective on the fan mix. Maybe I missed it, but I would love to see how the stadium breakdown and overall attendance looked.

I was at the Pac12 championship. While it was a very pro-Washington crowd. There were also almost as many empty seats as a Pitt home game.

Which is one more reason to stay at home instead of going to the game. The entire point of sports is to experience the ups and downs with your favorite team. Now I have to fear being made into a meme just for being a fan? I can see if you are being an obnoxious SOB, but just an everyday fan showing emotion? IDK about that.

I agree 100% with PSU95alum.
The reason? Because at 28-7, my son and I looked at each other and had a "what is happening?" look that Wisconsin fans could be using today.
Thank you for not posting Wiscy pictures.

I have no problem with the Wisconsin player who put his helmet over a journalists camera being made a meme as he walked off the field.

One of the announcers mentioned the crowd was 60/40 in favor of PSU, for whatever that's worth.
