Gin & tonics with an extra splash of lime always remind me of summer.
INGREDIENTS IN THE PIMM’S CUP COCKTAIL
- 2 oz Pimm's No. 1
- 3 oz Sprite, 7Up or ginger ale
- 1 Cucumber Slices
- 1 Strawberry, hulled and cut into quarters
- half Orange slice
- 1 Lemon slice
- 6 Mint leaves
- Glass: Highball
Bourbon & Turkey Hill Lemonade. The lemonade also pairs well with Tanqueray Gin.
Make this for my gf, copying a drink called the Herbie Hancock in local bar .....
several slices of fresh watermelon muddled/crushed or processed in blender, then strained
simple syrup
vodka
shake with ice and pour into ball jar (or 30 oz yeti)
Refreshing and can be weak with one shot or strong with 2-3 shots

I just had my first mule, ok two mules, last night at dinner.

Oh, I forgot, maybe a little umbrella sticking out of the top of the bottle - must be gift rapped in a paper bag with the top rolled down.
Just bought a case of Porch Rocker by Sam Adams - kind of like Leinenkugels if anyone is familiar.

Hazy little thing by Sierra Nevada is a good summer beer also imo.
I had a strawberry/rhubarb Margarita the other day and that quickly went to the top of my list.
Mexican Mule is another thats very good.
INMO the entire Sierra Nevada line is very, very good.
Shot of Fast Eddie’s lemon vodka, half a shot of sour mix, and topped off with Sprite. Muddle in fresh mint. Served on the rocks. Refreshing summer drink.
