That was the year the Big 10 flogged those teams like crazy as"clearly" the 2 best teamsSome kind of 30 for 30 documentary about Michigan Ohio State from 2006? What in the actual hell?
#1 vs #2 -both conference members and plsying for a spot in the Championship game.
Not hard to figure out why it's s focus for the network.

And then Florida fortunately jumped Michigan and proved them decidedly wrong
I remember that many were clamoring for a re-match in the BCS title game. Thankfully that did not happen and they were both exposed. USC crushed Michigan in the Rose Bowl then UF humiliated OSU in the title game. Good times!
Since 2000, O$U has won 13 of these match ups! They don't talk about that do they?
I read somewhere that in the last twelve years the PSU 11-1 record against Indiana is akin to OSU over UM during the same time.
Actually, since 2002, TOSU has played for 4 NC's and won 2 of them. Ohio folks are pleased with that. TOSU has demonstrated that it can play outside of the "B1G shizhole" whatever that is. OSU's biggest problem isn't in the B1G, it is the NFL.Exactly, not the two best and quite clearly not even the two "second best" as USC demonstrated quite clearly in the Rose Bowl (i.e., had a 4-Team format existed in 2006, USC and Florida would have likely met in the finals.....IOW, daO$U and scUM were exposed as vastly over-rated playing outside b1g shizhole in post-season as per usual).

Probably. That goes back to the 90's with John Cooper. He could not beat UM or win a bowl. Both are big sins at OSU. Do keep in mind that most of the best college football teams are in the south. It is a different mentality there and they allow things that the B1G does not. Oversigning comes to mind.Isn't daO$U's record 12-13 in their last 25 Bowl Games including 1-8 against the SEC over that span? (with the 1 win being over Alabama in 2014?).
