BIG10 is 5-0

The only way I could root for either Michigan or an Urban Meyer coached team would be if the win benefited Penn State.
We have family friends that are Michigan grads that live in Ann Arbor. The attitude of their school being more elite than Penn State is disgusting. Harbaugh has had numerous players in substantial trouble and has decided to play the kids. It appears Franklin is less likely to allow those issues. I still feel last year's loss to USC was partly because he benched Bowen. The defense gassed and was lacking depth. His presence would of made of difference.
As for Urban Meyer, what he did in Hershey to swing 3 PSU recruits after all but 2 Big 10 schools agreed not go after commitments was wrong.
I'm a firm believer that life does balance out. Maybe that situation Ohio State had with Micah Parsons was just karma.

That Karma wasn’t any Karma. Parsons wasn’t going there anyway and OSU had to self report. They didn’t really lose out on a player they weren’t getting.

And in general, I root for big ten all the time. While a perfect 8-0 record in bowls would be great....I don’t wanna see Michigan as the one to seal the deal. The big ten has already proven their point and watching Michigan go down in flames will be just one of several things to start my year off right.

Add to it that most of the B1G wins have been blowouts. PSU's win was about the most lopsided close game I have ever seen.

@kirbyhocutt and the CFP committee are looking like geniuses right now...NOT

Michigan should not even be playing today. Michigan State was 9-3 and beat Michigan who is 8-4.
Certain teams such as Notre Dame and Michigan seem to be looked at different than other teams when it comes to bowl selection. I do understand fan base is part of the reason. What's not fair about that, is they benefit from the national exposure. If I was a Michigan State fan I would not be happy.

I agree with you. I never root for Ohio State or Michigan, simple fact is that if they lose if probably helps PSU in recruiting. Also will not root for Sparty as long as Lou Anna Simon is President of the school, talk about a hypocrite.

Not just bowl selection.

We won the most important college game ever played in the Fiesta Bowl over Miami. Yet somehow ESPN's Fiesta Bowl History clips found that game less noteworthy than Brady crying on some teammate's shoulder.

Penn State is looked at differently too. We travel better than any team in the country, as I understand, and the viewership has to be through the roof. The bowl committee that picks PSU sees $$$'s (dollar signs, aplenty). I get your fairness argument, but it's trumped by money.

Surprising how? The importance of Penn State adults/alums is apparent enough that people who want to be President or want to remain President like to stop in State College or really close by to say high.

ESPN people and even B10 folks seem to easily overlook Penn State.

Also, the most important Fiesta Bowl ever played was also until a couple years ago the highest rated college football game ever watched.

7 and 0 is cool.
The thing everybody needs to remember is other than booger eating the thing Harbaugh is really good at is almost getting it done. Get to the Super Bowl as a QB, but get beat. Almost.
Beat USC on regular basis, but lose another game they should have won. Almost there.
Coach San Fran to the Super Bowl to get beat by his brother. Almost.
Undefeated going into end of season, trounced by Iowa, but beat Ohio State and they are in Conference championship and primed for a playoff spot. What is he now, 0-8 against MSU and OSU. Almost.

Big10 runs the table with one game left. Do not be surprised by a Jim Harbaugh Almost moment.
You called it, good job. It was a complete choke job in the 2nd half.

Could be but Meechigan is paying him silly money.

silly is right at +$9M for 4th place in the big 10 east division. Plus NFL teams come calling when you the hot thing. Harbaugh is not hot, hes cold.

Only takes one idiot owner out of 32 -- more than one of them ... and they don't care if he finished 4th B10, they'll say he went to the Super Bowl.

Personally hope he stays, just to see him field questions about being the 1 in 7-1 at the B10 conference mtgs.

Yeah but so many open positions, and some still think he is a genius, they will just say he isnt right for the college game. Personally I hope he keeps coaching the same way at meatchicken for a long time!

It's been rumored that the Colts might go after Harbaugh. I wonder what his buyout is?
Watching the college game it just appears that a traditional offense is a thing of the past. Unless Harbaugh is able to bring in a new wave offensive coordinator I think they might continue to struggle.

First the Harbaugh sleepover, now pulling the Tim Beckman with Ole Miss. He is not my cup of tea to put it politely.
