Posting this to see if there is anyone with info. on what the procedure is for lining up for parking on game day. Things have changed dramatically since last year. The police are now chasing RV's off when they are lining up to early but they wouldn't give a time. Does anyone know who or where to call to find out. I can see this becoming a real problem as the season progresses. I have been parking in the blue RV lot for 10 years without a problem but like every good thing someone has to come along and screw it up. Thanks for any help........ WE ARE

Don’t have your answer but I think it is a crime you can’t come in until Sat morning for the amount of money paid for preferred RV parking. I have thought about but will stay with ORV lot so I can come in on Friday night.

To be honest there a lot of people in the blue lot that would love to be able to to park on Friday night but we have no idea where to call or who to talk to. When I have called they keep sending you from person to person. I don't think there's anyone with a clue.

PSU's actions wrt all the RV parking lots boggle the mind. They are giving all the profit away to the secondary market and Grange as if there's nothing they can do about it. Nothing? How about a reel mower and some cardboard signs and charge $100/day anytime you want to come in? How hard is that? Instead we have street signs.

My friends parents have had preferred RV parking for more than 25 years. They used to a spot in what is now baseball field parking lot. They tell me PSU states it a safety concern to not let RV’s come in on Friday night. I call bulls***

Ok soooooooo it's safe to park in ORV but not in Blue or Orange RV lots that is BULLS***
Not sure what is going on but every game PSU puts out a game day packet that includes the time that the lots open. I park in the orange RV lot and I know the first group gets there at 5am no matter what the game time is or when the lot opens. Fortunately they are not impacting any traffic when the are in line. In the last few years, PSU has started making rules that make it harder and harder to have a great tailgate and a fun time every week.

Last year we would get in line at 4:30am and be lucky to be in the top 20 RV's and no one ever buged us.

I imagine if they let preferred RVs in on Friday, reserved RVs would want in as well. Next cars would want to be parking in their reserved spaces on Fridays. Given potential for events, etc. would turn into a huge Charlie Foxtrot really quick.

They let dead heads come in on Tuesday night for a Saturday concert about 7 years ago at the bryce jordan center, and they parked in the grass with their RVs.

We are just trying to get a handle on what time to get on line for a game day RV lot. Last year we would come after 12:00-1:00 get on the curb and shut down for the night. Ohio State we got booted out by state police around 1:30 made our way to Walmart and came back about 5:30 only to be held out on the main road. So what time can you be on the curb for RV parking no one seems to know. Also when we told the officer we did that all last year he said “ no you didn’t” ok sorry my bad I guess we didn’t, lol.

Nobody has any idea what they are doing with parking. Ask 3 people and you’ll get 4 different answers. This “selling out” of parking is ridiculous. Many yellow lots have zero cars in them.

It is different every week, they have no clue what they are doing. And that is a universal statement, not just relative to RV parking.
