Those paying attention will have seen this coming. Projects to 157/65. Absolutely no idea what happens there or if he’s going to be on scholarship.
He wouldn't be our best 157 pounder. Can he wrestle this season? Not sure if he is a freshman or a transfer?
Yes.Even if Haines redshirts?
That + rest of McCourt pipeline. I’m sure Erik will be a awesome addition to the room and knows what he’s signing up for in terms of competitionSo is this about getting his younger brother?
The kid has exceptional talent, and I am certain Cael believes he has a heart to match. His brother doesn't hurt.So is this about getting his younger brother?

Hopefully the adults at McCort are not included. That + rest of McCourt pipeline. I’m sure Erik will be a awesome addition to the room and knows what he’s signing up for in terms of competition
Which adult do you believe is going to tell Cael, Jake or Casey anything?Hopefully the adults at McCort are not included.
You rascal! The embedded media offers the following warning "The following media includes potentially sensitive content."
Nice of Twitter to be sensitive to Hawkeye fans' emotional state.
Weird comment. I don’t know them personally. I have spoken to Mr Gibson at M2 a few times but talked to the wrestlers more, all those kids are really nice people, class acts, good role models and that has to come from their parents & people they are around. But like most things I am sure if comes from plain old jealousy.Hopefully the adults at McCort are not included.
Need an update on the world domination thread!Obligatory 21Guns:
And the dynasty.
Just.
Got.
Stronger.
Like weekly eviction notices when you’re just trying to put food on the tableIt's like a non stop Hawkeye nightmare. Just keeps going on and on and on and on
I am half expecting to be evicted from HR after today.Like weekly eviction notices when you’re just trying to put food on the table

It's the weekend. I usually get "axed" first thing Monday morning..I am half expecting to be evicted from HR after today.

Honestly, I have done no trolling (with the exception of offering to speak a little more slowly and with smaller words for bnicolls), just presenting information and arguments for discussion that counter the dominant narrative over there - so I expect there will be no room for me soon. It's the weekend. I'd check with a Dermatologist first, you can pick up nasty stuff from toilet seats I'm told.Honestly, I have done no trolling (with the exception of offering to speak ....
Might steal the toilet seats and flush levers before they evict me.
The big question, will Mason be able to go 125 long term, and break the curse?
The little Gibson is #12 on Willie's Junior big board. Older Gibson I think Willie had around #7 at his weight his Senior year. Not sure where he was on Willie's big board. What are these two kids' credentials that indicate they are gonna make an impact? not being argumentative, just wondering.
I’ve been hoping someone goes in-depth in their credentials myself. That said, anyone originally committed to Cornell is a welcome addition. What are these two kids' credentials that indicate they are gonna make an impact? not being argumentative, just wondering.
Mason is a 5 time PJW champ. Won Super 32 as an 8th grader. 2 time Fago champ I believe. Finished 2nd his freshman year at PIAA states. Injured sophomore year and did not wrestle.I’ve been hoping someone goes in-depth in their credentials myself. That said, anyone originally committed to Cornell is a welcome addition.
Losing the state final (and especially the way he lost) was a surprise, despite Ungar being a former NJ state champ. Mason was dominant that year as a freshman.Mason is a 5 time PJW champ. Eric not as heralded. Was a two time piaa state placer, 3rd as a freshman and 6th as sophomore and was not allowed to wrestle at states his junior and senior year because of McCort transfer. Ranked #1 in state his Senior year. Also was a double AA at Fargo that year. I'm thinking Willie had him around #50 on his big board.I’ve been hoping someone goes in-depth in their credentials myself. That said, anyone originally committed to Cornell is a welcome addition.
Yeah I was shocked. But then didn't Ungar beat an elite recruit a week or two later in an All Star match that kinda showed he was for real? Maybe I'm misremembering that part.Losing the state final (and especially the way he lost) was a surprise, despite Ungar being a former NJ state champ. Mason was dominant that year as a freshman.
Before Ungar, he was 21-0 with 16 TFs. His only 2 regular decisions were 5-1 over Steen and 11-6 over 2x champ Mac Church. He also twice majored state finalist Owen Reinsel.
