Which is a very rare occurrence for them.

So....if you're putting together today's lineup card, now that Harrison and Mercer have joined the parade....how would your lineup look?

Much tougher call now that Polonco his hitting. I also thought that they could have used Kang at 1B as well.

I guess against a LH I would go:

Harrison (RF)
Marte (LF)
McCutch (CF)
AmRam (3B)
Kang (2B)
Morse (1B)
Cerivelli (C)
Mercer (SS)

Morse (1B)
Stewart (C) - need him to catch Cole...the experiment with Cervelli didn't work
Mercer (SS)

FWIW - My thoughts:

__________

Polanco - RF (hits lefties well enough, has been hot as of late, and don't want to sit him two games in a row - he sat out yesterday)

Marte - LF

Cutch - CF

Kang - 3B (like Kang better than Ramirez in the 4 spot - though Ramirez has had a nice RBI run....and it improves the D at 3B)

Harrison - 2B (again, better D at 2B....and we know how Walker struggles against lefties)

Cervelli - C (more offense, plus Stewarts work behind the plate has become increasingly shaky. Only would want to use Stewie from here on out on days that Cervelli needs a rest)

Morse - 1B

Mercer - SS

I'd even consider Rodriguez for 1B, to try to get the best defensive lineup out there behind Cole (Lord knows, he deserves to pitch a game without watching the Keystone Kops infield for a change)....but Morse has been barreling up the ball pretty good since coming over.

Kang/Mercer/Harrison gives you a pretty good defensive infield (way better than Ramirez/Kang/Walker)

I'd probably flip Harrison and Marte in the 2 and 5 spots.....but I doubt Clint would want to bounce Marte around in the lineup, since it has been a very productive group since the break.

Won't bother typing up a reply since I agree with this from top to bottom.
