I still need 2 tickets and do not trust buying on stubhub without instant download (UPS only). How available will tix be outside of Rose Bowl and what might I expect to pay if the current going rate is between 210-250 for crappy seats? Thanks in advance.

I can't speak from direct experience but in most neutral site games outside of the super bowl there are always tickets readily available outside the venue at or below face value. I would definitely get the instant download just for peace of mind though.

Rose Bowl tickets are only original print copies. No print at home tix.

This is not a neutral site game. For many SC fans this is closer and more preferable than the coliseum

How can you not trust stub hub? If you don't get your tickets, you get your money back. If the tracking shows you didn't get them, you aren't charged. Then you buy them outside the game. That's what the guarantee is. They make it idiot proof with the language on their site, or so we all thought.

I used StubHub's last minute pick-up services for the Big 10 CG. I bought them online before we left the hotel Saturday morning and picked them up when they opened in the hotel near Lucas Oil Stadium.

Hard tickets at less than half face value. I would imagine StubHub would have that available for the Rose Bowl. Might give you another valid ticket option to consider.

It's not the distrust of stubhub. There is no instant download option so I didn't trust UPS delivering before my Sunday flight.

I don't know anything about the pick up services so I will look into it. Thanks for the advice. I will monitor stub hub but am now comfortable scalping them if required.

Also they will have a kiosk onsite and a brick and mortar next door to the Nits hotel, Marriott LA Live

There are over 90,000 tickets to this game. You should have zero problem finding sellers outside the South (main) Entrance to the Rose Bowl. Dude, I grew up there, and have bought tickets out front, just prior to the start of the game, on several occasions.

Thanks for the advice. Since this will be my first bowl game, I was hoping but wasn't sure that reasonably priced tickets would be easy to get.

Totally get it. You'd be in the position of investing big $$$ in transportation and lodging, and feeling like you simply HAVE to get the requisite number of tickets, no matter what the price. That's enough to tighten up anyone's sphincter. But consider that the sellers will be operating under the same, or worse, pressure. If they don't sell those tickets, they are worthless.

If you have the intestinal fortitude to stick it out, you will get tickets for face value. I have done so at the Rose Bowl numerous times, and also did it on January 1, 1987 at Sun Devil Stadium. Watching the Lions beat Vinny Testaverde and Jerome Brown was fantastic all on its own, but doing so having paid face value for primo seats made it all that much better.
