JB is a real pro - great stuff!!
I typically listen at 1.5x speed, so it never takes an hour to listen to an hour show.
I try and save them for my work commute... plug the iphone into the car..lol, I never thought of that technique. I'll have to give it a try. I usually find time to listen when I also have something to do on the computer. The problem with this approach is that I can go a few minutes where I lose focus on the podcast and then either have to repeat it or just admit that I missed it.
At what play speed do they start sounding like the chipmunks?
1.5 . J/KAt what play speed do they start sounding like the chipmunks?
Damn you. Now I've got, "Now Christmas don't be late, ah-ooh, ah-ooh" stuck in my head.At what play speed do they start sounding like the chipmunks?
You're welcome!Damn you. Now I've got, "Now Christmas don't be late, ah-ooh, ah-ooh" stuck in my head.
Great interview! The most downloaded podcast on the web, Dan Carlin's hardcore history, is usually anywhere between 3-4 hours. His most recent one, was six hours. That made it to 1M downloads faster than any podcast in history, including Marc Maron's WTF episode with Obama.
Food for thought when you think about the length of a podcast! I think the average length is 45 minutes. I typically listen at 1.5x speed, so it never takes an hour to listen to an hour show.
