Yeah, I was intrigued by that part too. I hope Brady can get healthy and in form for March because it's a whole new ballgame if that happens.
Wellllll . . . I think he did say something similar in 2015. Just sayin'.
He is pissed! He knows they should have won. He prepared them about as well as he could prepare them when pretty much everybody was giving it to Iowa at Carver. He is not happy although he disguises it well. His lineup is still changing and he will have them ready for March as all others have been put on warning. We are not in transition. We are here to win.
It's a whole new ballgame if shak can regain his form. Only 4 weeks to do it though.
He thought about it, asked Pyles but when Pyles had nothing for him, he kept the same lineup.
He did say “Mark Hall is a professional.” Don’t tell Vodka.
Definitely curious about the lineup change comment. We all know Cael is notoriously guarded with the media. For him to make that comment, to me suggests something might be happening soon. Who knows what?
I hate to say it but i don't think there is enough time left for Shak to figure it out again. He hasn't shown any offense in his matches since he got cleared. I hope I'm wrong.
Realistically, what lineup changes could there be? Berge? Beard? If its Beard, we probably find out in the next week. Possibly Shak gets today to figure it out?
Really not sure. I'm curious to find out, though. My only point is that for him to mention the possibility of lineup changes publicly, which he didn't have to do, it suggests something is going to happen. Should be FUN!

Completely hypothetical and unrelated but if Berge does get back in there and finishes the season 5-0 to get in the coaches rank. With his win earlier against Humphreys, would that qualify him for bronze standard?
I'm on the "BeardWagon" also, but just not willing to concede Shak can't improve in 4 weeks. To me, he's always been a tad inconsistent. If he's the guy in March, I hope he surprises some people, me included.
He was injured last year too, so he hasn't been "himself" going on 2 years.
The guy that cradled through the scuffle and beat out cassar may not be able to be all the way back unfortunately
Then again lightning in a bottle has been caught before and he + this staff are just the people to do it....
Plus, it is more than 4 weeks. B1Gs are 5 weeks out, Nationals 6-1/2 weeks. Small improvements day-to-day can add up.

Nope. Sitting today. I sure hope he gets there, though he hasn't given much reason for optimism yet. There is still time.
Not really. Won a few but lost to unranked Tony Dallago (0-2 at NCAAs that season of Illinois, got majored by Steinhaus (8th at NCAAs that season) of Minnesota, and got pinned by Travis Rutt (7th at NCAAs that season) of Wisconsin. Pretty awesome improvement from Q in the last 2 weeks of the season to win BIGs and he did it by beating Rutt in the quarter finals, Dallago in the semi finals and Steinhaus in the finals.
