Can Mitchell Mesenbrink Win an NCAA Title This Year? - My Answer is Yes!!!

I think Ayala was a better prospect than Jesuroga also. Let's see how his career pans out, but he was a ton coming out of high school.
This already is true. Didn’t Jesuroga stop wrestling. Ayala wrestles hard and seems to really like the sport. That’s half the battle,,, but how long until the Iowa injury bug gets him

A better response might have been..
"Thats Iowa style"
Turk is cranky.. It's going to be a long winter I'm afraid...
Nah man. I'm not cranky at all. I'm a happy guy really. Just having some Fun.

Perhaps your boss was correct. Where I work I am the boss. I'd have a response ready for you if you told me where to keep my opinion.
Turk - glad to hear that you are “the boss” where you work. I’m sure your underlings revel in your enlightened leadership. Keep up the fine work.

Thanks man. We have a great crew. Teamwork makes the dream work!

KOT is huge. The weight pull is a challenge. Carr is not facing a tough weight pull which he was facing at 157. MM is probably around Carr's size. Askren said on FRL when ask about the chances of AWA guys being good enough to earn a trophy level point production this upcoming season that KOT,Parker, and MM should be all be good for 20 or so and PM 10-12. Ben thinks he can compete but what would he know about the level difference between KOT and MM? He has only wrestled both for hundreds of hours and watched them scrap with each other a few hundred more.

KOT is very much wanting to move to 174 according to Ben multiple times because he doesn't like cutting all of the weight. I think Carter would be too much for him but KOT isn't scared of tough opponents and probably believes he could win. Mocco is a close friend and wrestles 174 so he will wait one more year.
The more likely conclusion for KOT not going to 174 would be that it’s an Olympic year and 174 doesn’t particularly suit that weight class. He will most likely wrestle the trials soon after NCAAs. And he needs to make a touch under 164 to get to 74kg. I’d imagine Carter will also redshirt because of that very reason. The weight cut will need to be manager correctly while descending for the trials. But I’m sure Cael and Casey have that already planned out.

A 100% Starocci could win 174 weighing 165. I dont see him taking ORS. All signs point to this being his last year. He’ll get his 4 then on too MMA

I agree. If Starocci wrestles in college, he will wrestle 174. Why try making weight at 165 12-15 times? Do it once for the Trials. Carter wins any weight he wants at NCAAs, so pick the weight that’s easiest to make the most times.

I never said Starocci would wrestle 165 in college. I said he would start his descent. I said KOT will most likely stay down at 165 for those reasons.

Not to squash anyone's dreams and I get it, who am I to even opine, but...

Neither a sucked down Carter nor skinny Keegan have a snowball's chance in hell of beating either/both Nolf and Dake.

Take 9 lbs off any wrestler and see what happens, just ask DT, Zain, even Gilman probably just lost due to the cut alone. Even the thought is sillinesss.

I understand they both have elite talent and elite goals that make them champions, but neither moreso than properly sized, seasoned, and top of the world Kyle and Jason. Get "real", and if so, the thought should be 2028.

Just sayin'

Is that what your ME expertise is telling you? Would you be willing to donate more to NLWC if Carter beats Nolf AGAIN??

He and Aaron have already discussed not going at the same weight for the trials. This was spoken by Aaron in a Flo Interview before last season. Now, things can change, so I am only using what has been said in the past. I’d say he has a better shot at Dake or Nolf than he does going up 20 lbs to a monstrous Taylor and Aaron who is going up to 197 this year (by all accounts to include his father). I have zero information on any of this. Just speculating. Unfortunately for those guys in that weight the Olympic committee still cannot get those weights right even though we have significant data showing very very competitive World weight classes. It honestly baffles me!

Gotta be a country somewhere that would speed up second citizenship for the chance at an Olympic medal of some color, amirite?! 😉
