How the hell is there no stall call?! Ref should be embarrassed. He'd get a chair thrown at him at Carver.

Funniest match I ever saw was a boy and girl about this age. The girl took the boy down. Not hard, he wasn't hurt, but he started to cry. The girl, obviously having been taught that you don't hurt people, stood up and backed away. The boy stands up, still crying his eyes out, while the girl stands there, looking back and forth between the crying boy and her parents, not knowing what to do. Neither child would do anything, so the match ended. I never did find out if they scored it a medical default or a 2-1 decision for the girl.

if you go to enough youth tournaments, you'll see matches like what you described, and even ones that are comparable to the video embedded by the OP. It's mostly with the youngest kids ... ones that clearly have no idea what they are doing. I find it amusing to see how the refs handle such matches. A few treat it by the book, and call stalling, award back points, etc. Most quickly realize that they are not in a normal match, and do their best to make it an enjoyable experience, as well as a learning experience, for both wrestlers.
