...over the last 5 years.

I hope somehow, someway Penn State fans make him as uncomfortable as possible. If any of you cross paths with him, please let him know what a piece of crap he is. Thanks.

Here were he and Kirk before the Selection Committee Vote in Dec 2016.

@KirkHerbstreit:
"I called that Ohio State game. I saw that student section half empty by the time they got into the second half because their OWN PEOPLE didn't believe in James Franklin."

"Des, James Franklin is getting a lot of this (pats on the back), but before that Ohio State game he wasn't feeling any of that."

@DesmondHoward:
"Half the student section -- gone -- left the stadium. And now everyone's 'loving' Penn State."

"I think they have to go a long way of trying to erase the perception that followed them after the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal because when most people think of Penn State they think of that scandal and they think of Joe Paterno and what happened under his watch."

"They've always appeared to be holier than thou, especially with the 'Catholics vs Convicts.'"

Rece Davis: "You guys talk about half-empty student sections, but I'm going to talk about students camping out in tents, more than 150 of them, waiting more than 30 hours in the cold to get tickets to this game."
Kirk Herbstreit: "Yeah, when they're winning, yeah, they're showing up."
Desmond Howard: "Right, very interesting."

HERE'S THE VIDEO. How many outright LIES can you detect in the two minutes between 1:03:00 and 1:05:00 on ESPN3?http://www.espn.com/watchespn/player/_/id/2935084/size/condensed/

For what it's worth, I happened upon the ESPN hype show early Saturday AM in time to hear Desmond praising us in every way possible. It was one of those who do you like to represent the Big10 in the playoff deals, where they each pick somebody different and make their case. He picked Penn State and gave a pretty good case.

That's like forgiving 21Guns for his disloyalty and 3-9 prediction last season just because as BisbeeMike Gunsie has shown himself to be a little level-headed. No thanks.

After tweeting this picture to him a few years ago, he blocked me on twitter for some reason. If he says anything stupid in the next 2 weeks, please copy/paste so I don't get left out of the fun.

I can see a setup like this if they come to PSU. Stage inside the stadium with cheerleaders up front and few hundred far off in the stands with no signs.

Knowing our university's "leadership", they will not only welcome lameday with open arms, they will request a detailed rehashing of the false narrative throughout the day.

Maybe they'll invite Des to take part in the coin flip. He won a Heisman, ya know.
He can do his forced hyena laugh while miked up at midfield.

:eek:

Corso said " Where's the kid in the shower" from the gameday set in 2012 when thy showed footage of our team.

I believe the actual quote was "Where's that little kid?" It came over the air while the team was shown huddled up together jumping up and down before the game. IIRC, there was something posted here that he was supposedly asking somebody in the production crew about an errand boy that was sent to get coffee or something along those lines. I never bought it and he might as well have said what you posted here. Lest anyone think the GJP fabrication was irrelevant.

I don't want them( lame day) at PSU ever. I don't think they are brave enough to ever show their faces there either. Don't need them and don't want them.
It's about TV rating$. Bravery is not a factor or should it be. You make it sound as if they would be in physical peril. Controversy only increases ratings. The best thing that could happen is if they came and no one showed up for the event, and they were just ignored. But that won't happen. Viewers like to read the clever signs, and fans like to make them. No big deal IMHO.

So you get a bunch of students to fill in the area right behind their pathetic little stage set, holding their cutesy signs about how much they love Herbie, then when the cameras pan to them, they drop the signs, extend the double middle finger salute and chant F ESPN! F ESPN!

I am not implying any physical danger however verbal comments and the "clever signs" may not be embraced!

Don’t think it is a good idea for the game day boys to show at PSU!!!

We need to boycott them if they do. No one should show up for their show. No signs, no screaming, no playing into their shtick. Completely ignoring them would be the way to go. But I'm afraid that the students will be excited to see them, as the kids on campus today probably have no knowledge of how ESPN treated us with the scandal and sanctions. If up to me, they would not be allowed to broadcast their circus from PSU.
