For what it's worth, I happened upon the ESPN hype show early Saturday AM in time to hear Desmond praising us in every way possible. It was one of those who do you like to represent the Big10 in the playoff deals, where they each pick somebody different and make their case. He picked Penn State and gave a pretty good case.

I believe the actual quote was "Where's that little kid?" It came over the air while the team was shown huddled up together jumping up and down before the game. IIRC, there was something posted here that he was supposedly asking somebody in the production crew about an errand boy that was sent to get coffee or something along those lines. I never bought it and he might as well have said what you posted here. Lest anyone think the GJP fabrication was irrelevant.

It's about TV rating$. Bravery is not a factor or should it be. You make it sound as if they would be in physical peril. Controversy only increases ratings. We need to boycott them if they do. No one should show up for their show. No signs, no screaming, no playing into their shtick. Completely ignoring them would be the way to go. But I'm afraid that the students will be excited to see them, as the kids on campus today probably have no knowledge of how ESPN treated us with the scandal and sanctions. If up to me, they would not be allowed to broadcast their circus from PSU.
