In three separate meets so far this indoor season, he has clocked 55 meter times of 6.41, 6.39, and 6.41 seconds. Think of that as a 6.4 second 60 yard dash. He ran a 10.85 second 100 meter last spring as a freshman. He is 5'9", roughly 175 lbs. I don't know if he'll get much taller, but he will get heavier and stronger.

You can never have enough speed! His recruitment will be one to watch.

How does that compare to Journey Brown?

Journey ran the 60 meter indoors. He had one of the fastest times in the nation last year, and he ran a 10.43 100 meter last spring. However, he had those times as a 17 or 18 year old. Tyree already has the 6th fastest time in the country for the 55 meter, and he is either 15 or 16. His 10.85 last spring was as a high school freshman. I think we have to wait until Chris is a senior to compare their track times. He is already very fast for a short distance!

Tyree is 247's #1 running back for 2020. Wiltfong already has in a CB for Penn State for him. He camped at PSU in June, then came to the Pitt/PSU game with his parents and also was at the White Out game against Michigan (which he loved). We're in a real good spot with him.
