How can Tosu athletic supporters do such things? lameday is there tomorrow. If they aren't classy, some people won't like them. Oh, I think that only applies to Penn State because we have the culture problem and need to be eternally apologetic for it.

I will add that the amount of maturity the Penn St kids show, while being met with vile nastiness from our conference "brethren" in Columbus, Iowa City, etc, is a real credit to the team and coaches.

I understand the whole prepubescent fascination with this line of ball busting, and how it actually has the opposite effect and fires up our side but I really hope everyone reads this............IT DOESN"T MATTER!!!!!!!!!! If you're a small person and get annoyed that someone on a competing college football site brings these things up then it's your problem. Joe Pa is ours and we don't need to share him with anyone and we shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. Easier said than done, I know, but please, please, don't let it get to you (then and only then, you lose your power). All you need to say is that we've obviously moved on successfully in only 5 years. I mean, true remorse would have lasted 10 or 20 years--so maybe it isn't quite as it seems........that is all that needs to be said.

Hard to imagine what all our sports teams have to hear on the road. Too bad we can't parade Masser, Peetz, Dambly, McCombie, Erickson, etc. in front of that gauntlet. Of course they weren't responsible, it was all of us as we were admonished. It's our culture that has to be washed in the blood, not theirs.
I'd love to hear stories about what our athletes have had to put up with on the road. It's tough enough to hear about fan experiences.
I'm sure it's all awful, but the fact is that other schools' athletic supporters are just jealous. They hate that Penn State had Success With Honor before the scandal and never lost it. They hate us.

4. No-nonsense, traditional, non-sell-out, classy uniforms.
5. Tied with wisconsin for the the most consecutive winning seasons in the b1g.
Those are just a few superlatives for football. For the athletic department overall:
1. No legitimate ncaa sanctions ever.
2. No ncaa investigations ever.
3. Graduation rates consistently well above the national average.
4. Success With Honor (not just a football thing).
5. Most team national championships of b1g schools all-time and since joining the conference.
6. The reason there is a b1g hockey conference (with the best arena in the nation).
They hate us.

Rutgers fan here. I've always been opposed to this BS. I do everything to discourage this nonsense on our site. The OSU fans who posted those banners are an embarrassment to themselves and the program they represent. I really hope Penn State and Franklin bust the game wide open in the 4th quarter.
