Close Losses

Even though he was banged up and basically missed more than a full game, Clifford had a better 3rd year passing than McSorley did.

McSorley had over 750 yds rushing vs. Cliffords 112 so far.

Sorry but I really don’t care about the closeness, a loss is a loss and a win is win. It’s just like being pregnant, you either are or your not. The final result is all that ultimately matters.

Frankly I have no problem with Clifford's play all season. He played well, he played hurt, and he played with the worst offensive line in the Big Ten giving him no relief.

I hope he comes back next year.

What? bad qbs can win close games. Go check out the thread bashing Lamar Jackson. Ravens have wins by 1, 2, 6, 3, 3 (w Huntley), and 6 and Jackson isn’t even really a QB if I’m reading things correctly.
Correct…he is a great runner and a bad QB.

If we are reading things correctly Jackson is 1-4 in playoff games. When absolutely necessary he cannot throw the football accurately down the field, and before anyone cries racism, I present to you Warren Moon, Doug Williams, and Russell Wilson, all tremendous drop back quarterbacks with great accuracy and superb football iq.
