Was wondering your guys predictions thoughts on coaching changes. Obviously right now there are three jobs open in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Little Rock. Who do you see taking those jobs? See any other jobs opening up?

Wisconsin - Donny Pritloff or long shot Askren.

Michigan - Bormet. If David Taylor was ready to move on from competing this IMO would be a great opportunity for David and Michigan, but he isn't.

Arkansas Little Rock - not a clue, but if they are serious about providing the the support necessary Metcalf should be on the list.

Pat Smith is in Little Rock.
What's his coaching resume like?

Asking because Paul Keysaw is in Fresno, has been a lower division college head coach in CA for quite a while (with championships) and didn't get that job -- don't think he interviewed (not sure he even wanted it for that matter).

He was an assistant at OK State for 10 years and has been running the Arkansas Wrestling Academy and been pretty huge in getting high school wrestling up and running in the state. I would imagine he also has been involved in the creation of this program.

That would not surprise me. When my kids wrestled in west Tennessee, we ran into the Bluebirds youth program, headed up by Pat. He was producing some great wrestlers.

He was born in 1970, so he is super young :))), and he appeared to have a great personality for a head coaching job, from watching him in a few tournaments.

Little known about Pat Smith, he had a massive heart attack last year, lucky to be alive. Wonder if he would want to attempt to oversee a start-up program give his medical issue last year.

Why not the one Churella (not sure which one it is) that already serves as an assistant at Michigan? Certainly has the credentials and the family name to keep it going there.
