Great to see the coaches emphasizing enhancements in the offseason and then having those enhancements come to fruition. Specifically,
Special Teams - A few years ago, I recall Huff traveling to meet with the special teams coaches at various NFL teams. I have to say, field goal team aside, the special teams play thus far has been some of the best I have seen since I started following PSU football in 94. Great to see the coaching staff making a commitment to improve an area and having that come to fruition.
Turnovers - In the offseason, we heard a lot about the coaches emphasizing turnovers this year and wow what a result. Great to see the defense and special teams forcing interceptions and fumbles.
Now if only we could get offense line working.
