Has anyone ever seen Cowherd and Lando in the same place at the same time?
At half I wasn't even panicked yet alone praising USCHas anyone ever seen Cowherd and Lando in the same place at the same time?
He was projecting. He gets hammered and distracted so he believes everyone else will. He’s always been a west coast guy- usually an outright SC fan and Oregon (whoever is better at the moment).
The statement is just stupid. The Big ten teams can’t handle the sunshine? Does he think it’s not sunny on the East coast too? And what distractions in LA do teams have to deal with? They’re in town for all of 1-2 days at most and it’s game prep time.
I think we all have a “I stopped listening to him” story. 5 minutes after the first time I ever heard him. What a douche. This NIT WIT once said Charlie Weis was the best coach in college football. I stopped listening to him after that gem.

It would be funny if it wasn't true.To be fair, half this board thought we lost at the half lol
They both suck. That was outrageously bad behavior. Guess ESPN approves?
All of those shows are so bad. I feel embarrassed watching any of them, to be honest. It is like a testosterone frat boy on steroids with the token woman moderating.Ever try and listen to other talk radio like Covino and Rich, or the odd couple they are god awful and you wish Colin or Dan was on. So compared to other talk radio Colin is very good. And yeah, he is a USC homer.
So true. I bet I haven’t watched more than five hours total of ESPN talk shows ….ever.All of those shows are so bad. I feel embarrassed watching any of them, to be honest. It is like a testosterone frat boy on steroids with the token woman moderating.
But here is my question...When did Colin Cowherd start talking and looking like Megan Rapino? So true. I bet I haven’t watched more than five hours total of ESPN talk shows ….ever.
Colin loves USC.
Sure, he’s obnoxious but he does actually veer into interesting topics beyond the typical sports radio banter. He’s entertaining, which is his job.
Also he doesn’t hate PSU. He just loves USC, and Harbaugh and Meyer. We’re extra sensitive as he talked up our rivals over the years.
I’m not defending him at all, but I think k he plays a character of sorts at times. Here we all are talking about him. We wouldn’t be if he didn’t make a bunch of “hot takes”.The guy is a fart.
I’d like to throat punch that smarmy bastard.I’m not defending him at all, but I think k he plays a character of sorts at times. Here we all are talking about him. We wouldn’t be if he didn’t make a bunch of “hot takes”.
When Colin was first on ESPN radio, it would be sweeps week (for advertising) and Colin (being the new guy) needed to bolster his numbers. He literally mentioned Joe every day for a week as he knew it would generate discussion / calls. The first year, I thought this was a one off, but Fall sweeps the next year, every day "Joe Paterno". It became a running joke over the years, if his numbers dipped, he would literally start the show "Joe Paterno".Quite a different thing than owing some coach an apology. For what? And Cowherd shits on PSU routinely and has for years. All this stuff is stupid.
Cowherd's act is much luck that of a pro wrestling villain; what he says and how he acts often has no other purpose than to get under the skin of a large portion of his audience. Another analogy might be a message board troll where the "substance" of the posts is nothing more than an effort to get a reaction. He doesn't upset me, but he doesn't entertain or inform me either, and while I agree that he can get into interesting topics, it just not enough to make me sit through the other stuff.Colin loves USC.

Spot on, Lando. That video Cowherd recorded at the L.A. Coliseum is a classic. I thought he might have had a few beers in when he recorded it.ESPN hired McAfee and Stephen A Smith--they support anything that gets attention--like all media
He had 3 playoff appearances - no?Great offensive developer of QBs, but has proven in 3 BT losses he’s a terrible in game coach. UM, Minny, now today…You would think anyone who’s watched even 1 football game EVER would know with 47 seconds left, still 20 yards outside FG range AND 3 TO’s LEFT, you don’t let the clock go down to 14 seconds!!! What was THAT??? Next play interception!! Served him right.
Exciting game for sure. Good win for PSU.
Who is Sean McAfee?Spot on, Lando. That video Cowherd recorded at the L.A. Coliseum is a classic. I thought he might have had a few beers in when he recorded it.
There is a (thankfully) small group of sports commentators who display their ignorance and lack of judgment on virtually a daily basis: Cowherd, Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, and Sean McAfee come immediately to mind. They are there because, for some crazy reason, they apparently drive TV ratings. I can't watch any of them for more than a couple of minutes at a time, so I switch the channel whenever they come on.
yes, his show on mondays has "where Collin was Right, Where Collin was wrong".....Did he ever apologize and admit he was wrong?
Funny...he said the LA Coliseum is the best place to watch college football?!He was complimentary of PSU. Said it was a very good and impressive win, complemented the team, talked about Warren, etc. He ate crow and did a major flip from ‘people are going to need to apologize to Lincoln Riley’ to ‘USC is young at key positions and isn’t getting it done’ (paraphrasing).
He did say PSU was a good team. Didn’t think they’d beat elite teams like Texas, Georgia, Ohio St but otherwise a very good team.
