1. In the heat of the battle, so many were quick to dump the team. 'we are dead', 'this one is over', '____sucks'. This game was going to be a tough one today no matter what & I am surprised so many thought this would be easy. This team has shown it has 'IT' when it comes to finding ways to win, even when they are down. Doing this on the road with a 24 point 4th quarter shows this team is growing up. We could not have won this game the past two years or earlier this year. Winning under adversity allows for big time growth. Today's game will add another piece to the puzzle as the team grows for next year & beyond. Huge win.
2. This is the longest winning streak since 1994- I was stunned when I heard that.
3. NO team is going to be able to effectively run the ball when you lose your top 4 tackles. No team. They will be fine next week even under the lights because Rutgers simply sucks, but they really need to get at least one of those guys back for Michigan State or that will be a dog fight as well. There's only so much you can do when you can't block.
4. The Rose Bowl is very much in play still. That is VERY exciting.
5. Proud of the way this team hangs in there. I think the play calling was very conservative & maybe he was forced to because of the injuries, but overall the coaching this year to get them to this point can't be argued as anything but impressive.
