Your d-line in particular is impressive. Knew this was going to be a long day with all of our injuries but this was marked on the calendar as an L when the season started. Wish we could’ve given you guys a better game though. Best of luck the rest of the way.

Thanks, B. Everyone here understands that you ate extremely banged up and extremely young. Would encourage you to "trust the process" with what appears to be a keeper coach and recruiter. We all wished that we could have seen Montrale Moore in Beaver Stadium today. He picked Purdue over a number of powerhouse programs, including PSU.

No doubt. Making a bowl game in year 1 changed everyone’s expectations (either fairly or unfairly depending on who you ask). This year we needed a lot of things to go right and so far almost all of them have gone wrong. Better days ahead!

Thanks man. I made a mistake at lunch yesterday and checked out the Tom Rinaldi piece on Tyler Trent. That upset of Ohio State with him on the sideline was one of those magical moments that transcended sport. My eyes were all puffy and had to compose myself after watching it.

RIP to Tyler. What a stud he was.

It really was. He actually grew up in my old neighborhood and my wife and I adopted his family’s dog as they put him up for adoption when Tyler got sick. I like to think a little part of him lives on every day!

Came over here to say the same thing. Good news is, most of the guys that played for Purdue today will be playing vs Penn State in 2022. Might be a bad thing though. Lol good luck the rest of the year!

It was just a tough match up today for the Boilers with all the injuries. Hope any Purdue fans that made the trip to central Pennsylvania had a good time (despite the game results).

So I’ve lurked/randomly posted on this board for awhile. When the whole Sandusky thing went down I was living in York and I came here to better understand it. And I think my view of that scenario is significantly better informed by my time here. As a new resident to PA, I actually found this board to be a great place to get acclimated to everything that’s great about living in Pennsylvania. And since I left PA for northern NE, I’ve found myself still coming back. I don’t post much but I do enjoy the topics here. I don’t always agree - and I rarely try and be “that other school guy” - but I always appreciate the point of views here, like Midnighter’s polls, Tom’s historical posts, psuro’s sig pics, and I even enjoy Art yelling at me about the CIC. Best of luck this year. I’ll be on your side.

After the game, had a few beers with one of your alumni QB's Scott Campbell. I was introduced to him by the host of the tailgate.

Thanks for all of the Purdue fans posts here. Good stuff. Hope Moore recovers soon and gives you a better chance down the line this season. With Sindelar back next season and Moore and Bell (we really wanted him) at WR, next season should be much brighter.
