FB Recruiting Conrad Hussey makes surprise visit to Florida State

"Student Athletes" are picking colleges based on primarily pro prospects/ coaches and NIL cash.
I wouldn't have an issue with any of this, if NIL were being used like it was intended, but we all know it's being used as payments to lure players. But how can you blame kids for committing based on who their coach is or their pro prospects? If they truly believe that football is their career (many probably unwisely, but that is what it is), then they absolutely should base a decision on who will be best preparing them for the next level. Obviously we all know that 90% of them won't make the NFL, but teenage athletes are going to have their dreams.

Agreed 100% regarding NIL abuse, coaching and NFL- look at OSU and their amazing depth at WR...kids go pro and are willing to sit to wait their turn.

It seems like this spirt is all about The Playoff and The League...which means that the overwhelming of teams and players are "failures." This just doesn't feel right...but it is nothing a couple of hundred thou and a Tesla can't cure.

As much as the transfer portal will allow some k8ds to get there opportunity to showcase themselves, it will also further ruin competitive balance and wash out players.

Whole thing just reeks.
