We all hated that loss as anyone who watched that game saw a possible blowout coming if Clifford stays healthy. I think that is the frustrating part.

Roberson clearly wasn't ready for any of this as well as the OL, but he was backed up all night and some crucial drops killed 2 drives. Both balls were VERY catchable. The false starts (10 of them maybe, I don't know) were infuriating. I give him a ton of credit for facing the music last night post game. Hopefully he can get his head screwed on straight and just manage the Illini game.

OL needs to look in the mirror. Up 10 with a really good defense and a backup QB, get your sh!t together and open up some GD holes......or maybe just not have the false starts.

The great deep RB room isn't great nor is it deep. In fact, it's very slow...slow running and slow making a decision. If I'm Singleton or Allen, I'm thinking I can come in early and contribute.

TE's, come on guys....that room is too talented to make those drops...even more so when you consider how poor their blocking has been early on this year. You have to make the routine catches with the backup QB...even more so ones that move the chains. As talented as they are, they need to really step it up.

Yurcich had a good plan of attack and it was working really well. The first pick was moronic, second one was a bad throw. That being said...you could see him exposing them outside and it was working.

Defense played great minus the long TD play where they lost the WR. Hopefully Mustipher is just a sprain or something as we could really use him down the stretch. They should keep their heads up as they are playing well. Missed tackle by Fields really hurt too, but it happens. Hard to nitpick that group as the O couldn't do much other than well executed false start play they ran into the ground. Ellis Brooks had another good game and Brisker is an ace back there.

Iowa isn't that good and may even drop a game with a VERY WEAK schedule left...nobody ranked or even good, but they will get smoked by whoever wins the east. Sorry, the son as the OC is holding them back. They can pull off a win like that at home against a backup QB, but they would have been smoked in HV or a neutral site. Hell they would have lost by 10+ if Clifford stays healthy. To quote Herbie...they failed the looks test last night IMO.

The BT will come down to OSU, PSU, and possibly UM...but I think the game in the Shoe kind of dictates this season and that O in Columbus is starting to click. It will be a tough out for sure, but IF...huge IF...Clifford can play we have a shot as their defense can be scored on. PSU or OSU will smoke Iowa in the BT title game. Beyond that UGa or Bama (even with the loss they will bounce back) will be winning the MNC this year.

Interested to see how far we drop as we were in control there....I'm thinking to 9 or so.

It's a good PSU team, but has holes....holes that are holding them back. Super pissed still as they could have won, but you cannot throw 4 picks and have that many penalties and expect to win. It's on the staff and entire team. Where is the leadership on that OL? It's doesn't exist.
