Brown's drop was a killer. He catches and either scores or sets us up first and goal or 3rd and short with is ready to tie the game. We then get sacked and FG which seemed to take away our momentum.

Overall a gritty performance that will silence a lot of critics.

OSU will have their hands full against scUM but even if they lose then win the B10 championship game they have a great shot at the playoff.

Brown had a great game otherwise and I think he started thinking about celebrating an easy TD before he caught the ball.

Yes that was a big drop. But we had decided to ride Levis all the way to the end by that point, and it wasn't going to lead to anything other than a close loss.

couple other critical plays ....
on both forced throws to 87, Hamler was wide open.
In first half would have been a TD, in second a big gainer

Tough catch as the linebacker cut in front of him and MAYBE deflected the ball. Never saw a clear replay.

That ball had some zip on it, too, for a short pass.

Yep, agree the pass was too hard and his vision could have been blocked for a split second. He played a good game overall.

I thought if we could get it tied st that point we could pull it out but actually think OSU still wins 28-21. They are just too good especially at home and a QB who can run like that.

We got 3 fumbles and still lost by 11 and it is not like we played a terrible game. Just no margin of error against them.

Good playcall - the same one we saw late in the game at Minnesota. Freiermuth did a better job at clearing out than George did and didn’t even put himself at risk of the OPI.

It was a tight window, for sure, but Levis did what he needed to do to fit it in there. Journey has been really good this year, but I’ll bet he’d tell you he wishes he could have it back.

No margin of error whatsoever. We needed to be +3 or +4 in turnovers, which is very unlikely. +2 just wasn't going to do it

You knew the Levis INT was coming. He was more confident than he should have been with his arm

He's a QB. I hope he has confidence in his arm.

While it's hard to pin it on the defense...they played ok, I personally think the play of the game was the converted 4th and 5 just before their 2nd TD.
OSU lines up empty backfield. I'm yelling at the TV "Quarterback draw!!! Quarterback draw!!!". Everyone around me at the bar is yelling "Quarterback draw!!!"
We have precisely 1 guy in the middle of the field who easily gets taken out of the play.

I know it was early, but maybe a stop there is a big momentum shift.
