Wait, Cael won COTY once before he got to PSU? I thought he couldn't coach and was only winning them because his team was winning NCs due to his recruiting prowess. Who knew?

When you realize that Cael got 5 first place votes which equals 45 points......that means that the other 5 voters only gave Cael 4 points total. Assuming Cael didn't vote for himself.....that means the other 4 voters gave him a total of 4 points.....meaning some or all had him 5th or less. Yeah.....sounds about right NOT

Correct. 10 Staff members. So the only two final total options for voting for Cael were:
1. 5 first, 1 fourth, 1 fifth, 3 sixth or worse
2. 5 first, 4 fifth, 1 sixth or worse

No middle ground with the writing staff on their definition of the award. Also, 100% certain Cael doesn't give a s**t, because he is, again, raising funds to expand the trophy case. Hard to keep up with the Iowa trophy race though, as they just received the 2019 April-October Team race again, with 170 points and 11 AAs, which they have won for the last 9 years straight.
