Cutch "At the Game" Interview

Matt McCutcheon is an absolute class act. He represents the wrestling team and Penn State in an exemplary manner. I'd love nothing better than to see him with a high AA finish this year. He deserves it. I graduated from Kiski Area high school and grew up not too far from where Matt and his family live. I didn't know them at the time, and it was well before Matt was even born, but I had an opportunity to chat with him last year at the wrestling kick-off event. What a humble, well-spoken young man. He has truly made the most out of his ability and opportunity. I expect him to have a great year if he can remain healthy.

He has to win the spot first. Cassar is very tough....

Cassar may be tough, but we haven't seen him wrestle an NCAA match yet. I'm really, really pulling for Cutch to have a great year. Why do you have to drop in and leave skid marks on every good post or thread?

Well, Cassar is beating Nico in the room.

How high of a recruit was Cutch? If he takes Top 5, do other fanbases get to acknowledge that Cael, Cody, and Casey can coach?

He was in the 30s overall Class of 2013. And we all know the answer to the second question.

Oh, hell no!!! He's receiving his coaching from the top recruits, not the coaches! Top 10 p4p Recruits. Period.

Correct. They are giving him the coaching. All Cael and Casey do every day is give him tougher competition than he will ever face during the season.

... by going across the street to West Halls.

I hope both Cutch and Raptor are healthy enough to wrestle off. It feels like the McCutcheon vs Cassar noise has been going on for longer than BobbyJoBobby was the lead twirler for the Blue band. (If you go to the football games there was a majorette named Bobby Jo who seemed to be the head twirler for like 10 years. 3 batons on fire, that kind of thing) Regardless of who goes, I hope they get to climb the podium and have a few electric moments in Rec Hall.

The fire batons were fantastic and I think it was four. Was Cael and the 2 Caseys there as well. Someone was giving high 5's but I didn't recognize them.
