Reilly's obviously off his rocker, but to me he comes across as more sane than some of the others. At least he does admit that Pitt is swimming uphill, and between the lines you get the idea that he realizes how screwed they are. The others are totally delusional, and frankly and in all honesty, I think a few of them may well be criminally insane. For all I know, they are posting from behind bars already.

The constant propping up the Freeh Report only means that they know it's hanging on by a thread.

Ask Mark madden how close he holds the report to his heart. Probably closer than Zubik holds the bible holds to his. The ironic thing is the self proclaimed "Super Genius" might be the biggest idiot in Western PA. Colin Dunlap and Mueller aren't too far behind.

The folks at Rivals and especially the Pitt boards should be fired for allowing such sh$t to continue. Many days they speak more of PSU than their own team. Amazing as your post makes you feel...it is dead wrong. What happened in State College doesn't make me feel superior to you or any other PSU grad. It makes me feel sad for you. The problem people have with the fan base has nothing to do with child rape. It was your reaction to your BOT's attempts to take corrective action against those it felt responsible.

This was mentioned earlier in the thread but the biggest piece of shit is Chris Peak. He shields his board from Pitts downfalls, but allows slander to run rampant.

I remember after the shit hit the fan, he landed the evening slot as a fill in on the Fan and took advantage of every second to express how he feels about anything and everything penn state.

I posted once (under an old handle) in the den about Peak, and subsequently was met with a stern reaction from one of the writers (apparently good friends with Peak) which was the threat of suspension from the board. I let my subscription run out after that incident. But the double standard is amazing.

Every group - college fb fan base, faith organization, geographical area, etc - has its own set of nitwits and knuckleheads. I'm sure there are Penn State folks who tweet nonsense, too. (Not directed to other posters in this chain). Sometimes our tone on this board implies that we are all good and everyone else is all bad. No group has a monopoly on good (or bad). Sorry - had to get that off my chest.

There isn't much to know. A quick scroll through the twitter account clearly shows the guy was a Pitt fan. He never tweeted at Hamlin, so it wasn't like he was trying to troll him. It was randomly found by Hamlin's family. It is an open and shut case....you have an idiot fan who pissed off the Hamlin's. In typical Pitt fashion, it was someone elses fault.

Thats the generic, token response whenever anyone trashes Pitt. "UPS fan". it sounds like Narduzzi's plan to recruit using twitter isnt working. He had a hashtag on his twitter that said #412crew #whoisnext or something along those lines that was deleted. I dont think any 412 crew members have verballed to Pitt.

Look anything can happen in recruiting as Pitt saw a few years back with Foster. However, it is no mystery right now where most of these wpial players are most likely going to play. Example, Hudson and Wheeler are pretty much PSU bound...even though neither has committed. The fact they haven't does change the fact they are most likely going too.
