I was at the David Taylor celebration tonight. What a wonderful event. It’s amazing to see how he interacts with all the young wrestlers. There is no wonder M2 is quickly becoming the best club in the state and soon the country. The atmosphere there is like known other.
On a different note: Mason Gibson was there and told me he will be out for the season with an ACL injury. Speedy recovery Mr Gibson

Yikes, hate to hear that.

Makes me wonder --- shades of Spencer Lee. Very heavy training and competition load for fairly small young body can lead to serious injury?

Ouch... These ACL injuries are no Joke. I just had a full ACL reconstruction and a miniscus. Resurfacing done 3 weeks ago. Its a 9 month injury the dr said.

Maybe it's true, but the OP has also said Gibson to Ohio State and Shapiro to Nebraska, and hasn't been around long enough to have a history of posting things that panned out.

yes mason tore ACL. he told me '8 months'.

freak thing. he was simply in his wrestling stance and slipped on sweat and said it didn't feel right. went to DR and it was torn.

NIL fully funds 100% tuition and room/board for all 35 PSU wrestlers. Note the BYU football model that fully funded the 36 walk ons plus $1000 extra for every scholarship football athlete. Come on Ira. Use some of that Casino $'s that are being built in State College for this
