There have been reports that consideration is being given to defund police.
Unless I am missing something this makes no sense.
Important programs would be cut and only make police departments worse.
A few examples
Maybe 3 cops go out when 5 are needed.
Less initial screening.
Training programs cut.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to maybe come up with programs to maybe realocate law enforcement/police funding?
