Check out slide 18 at this link.Any info on what the final product will look like?
That’s just an early draft version. Any details on the true final plans, including internal images?Check out slide 18 at this link.
I have yet to see detailed plans and I’ve been looking. They are taking down East and West sections of the lower bowl too or no? I see conflicting reports. That’s just an early draft version. Any details on the true final plans, including internal images?

Agree, the renovations are usually posted and celebrated as a marketing toolIt sounded like it from some of what was being proposed (or at least what season ticket holders were being questioned on level of interest in various amenities). I know they were floating taking out many lower bowl prime seats between the 40s for some sort of club seating restaurant type area with tables much like FSU is planning. Who knows if that made the final cut.
I can’t believe close to $800 million was approved by the BOT and yet they have no idea what they’re getting for that money.
I would think the plans are finalized by now as the construction has officially begun. I’m not sure why there’s so much secrecy/ lack of transparency so far. Most universities undergoing renovations publish their plans with lots of PR and drawings of what to expect. PSU acts like it’s a state secret.
Seems like they're keeping a tight lid on the plans. Here are a few images, I think that the third image was an early proposal.I have yet to see detailed plans and I’ve been looking. They are taking down East and West sections of the lower bowl too or no? I see conflicting reports.
I think these are great ideas and look great. I especially like enclosing and utilizing the areas under the seats. The curb appeal looks great. I would imagine it will allow for better amenities when entering with some temperature controls so the seats aren't so cold. So far, I think they've done a great job. I did like the look of the old press box but it clearly looked like an add-on. I've got a shot from the upper end zone seats similar to the one below, against a brilliant blue sky with white fluffy clouds that I sat in versus Pitt a few years ago that looks awesome.Seems like they're keeping a tight lid on the plans. Agree that picture 3 is not what it will look like. The press box side will be double decked with the new press box and suites between levels. I believe they are also reconstructing or at least remodeling the lower bowl.Seems like they're keeping a tight lid on the plans. I wouldn't be surprised if it somewhat resembles the South end zone sections with the multiple levels.Agree that picture 3 is not what it will look like. Is the current “suite box” also being razed on the opposite side? That structure is of course far newer and better, but wouldn’t it make sense to give the opposite side the same treatment?
2nd rendering looks great. 3rd, not so much.Agree that picture 3 is not what it will look like. The press box side will be double decked with the new press box and suites between levels. I believe they are also reconstructing or at least remodeling the lower bowl.

That's why I think that they'll try to make the West side look similar to the South side. Escalators just were added to the North Upper Deck, so I don't believe that anything will be done with that balcony. I guess that the East side eventually could be made to look similar to the West side, but that probably would not be done for many years because of the cost.It would look really piecemeal and odd if they didn’t unify the look of the whole stadium. If they just double deck the press box side you’ll literally have 3 sides of the stadium with 3 completely different double (triple) deck looks and the east stands the 1 level as now. It’d look really odd that way IMO.
