I don't see anybody listed anywhere.I don't see Ellis Brooks listed anywhere?
Here is a linkI don't see anybody listed anywhere.
Brooks looks destined for a redshirt unless we have a 2016-esque run of injuries at linebacker. It's probably for the better, too, if Cooper is healthy again.I don't see Ellis Brooks listed anywhere?
No. There's no second string behind Saquon. Allen, Andre and Miles are equals.Miles Sanders 4?
Miles Sanders is tied for #2 on that depth chartMiles Sanders 4?
Yeah. Saw it at gopsusports. Thanks, though.

But Gross Matos does not appear on the 3 deep. Stealth DE ?Per Franklin, true freshmen Gross-Matos, Wade and Castro-Fields will all play Saturday. They are a go. All other freshmen listed in "yellow" category, meaning they would like to redshirt, if possible.
lists Gesicki as a Sr/Sr. I thought he had another year?

A few other things jump out: it looks like Clifford has beaten Zembiec, which is really encouraging for SC and pretty discouraging for JZ. The OL looks as we expected it to look based on what the reporters have been observing during camp, but Miranda looks good to go, and it's nice to see Shuman and Gellerstedt make their way onto the depth chart. WR and RB look as expected, and Thompkins has beaten Blacknall there.
A little surprised to see Castagna over Simmons at DE and Castro-Fields over Wade at CB, but these depth charts come with the caveat that we won't know the *real* depth chart until we see how many snaps these guys are playing - I think Wade could very well see more snaps than TCF because of his work at nickel, for example.
Overall, not too many surprises based on what we've seen and heard this summer, but we seem to be primed, deep, and ready to roll.

I suspect Gross Matos will be on special teams. Davis said in an interview that Castro Fields and Wade are great on special teams. This is Franklin's pattern. Start True Frosh on special teams and then transition them into their natural positions. I suspect he is not a fan of playing starters on special teams, but haven't heard him say that. But Gross Matos does not appear on the 3 deep. Stealth DE ?
Also have to wonder about Miranda. He looks green on the DC.
Like last year. If behind and need a big return.See Barkley is listed as 3rd kickoff returner as well.
No this is his final year, and we should all be thankful for that because a lot of people thought he would declare after the Rose Bowl last season like Godwin. Really excited to be able to see his talent in Beaver Stadium again this season, kid is special.
I've always liked him as a player. I know it is blasphemy, but would we better moving McGovern back to guard, and playing him at center?TCF #2 and Wade #3 backing up Haley. That may have something to do with T.J. transfer.
Miranda must be too good to RS and maybe Thorpe as well.
My boy, Zach Simpson, #2 at center !
Depth at linebacker? By depth, do you mean they are alive with beating hearts? We have different definitions of depth. One or two injuries and we're back in the same boat as last year at LB, imo. I believe LB depth is still our biggest concern, by far.Why would CJF waste a year if his eligibility with the depth PSU has at LB? I doubt he is the first true freshman that would play anyway, as we are 3 deep at MLB......
Maybe Blacknall's doghouse issue prevented an "or" with Tompkins...
Nice set up for Menet. Get some snaps this year behind Mahon, then win the same position for 2018....
Castro-Fields must be the next Mel Blount to overtake Wade in such short order, given Wades head start.... can't wait to see them both!
