I think Jf learned his lesson last year. They will have more LBs going forward. They added three this year and will add 3+ in the next class.

The game changed until you play an old school team.

Nobody asked for 4 deep at LB. How about 2 deep or 3 deep? We did not have that the last two years. I think one year we only had 5 LBs on scholly.

Yeah...wonder what happened that caused depth issues when he arrived? Hmmmm, what was it? OL finally has real depth this year too. You act as if he was turning down Barajas, DeBerry, and about 20 other LB's that went elsewhere that he recruited. Any school that loses their top 5 LB's will be in a bad spot, don't care who it is. Nevermind a school that was just a year or two coming off of sanctions that scared people away. It's like seeing two cars smashed up on the side of the road and saying, they shouldn't have hit each other and their cars would be fine....well...no kidding.

The funny thing is you probably really think you know more than the coach when it comes to recruiting and depth....maybe you can fight him too.

NO they only landed a few....they recruited more than one. You simply don't know the difference, but that is ok. LB was a position they struggled to land kids, but it wasn't from a lack of effort unless you somehow think they recruit LB differently than other positions....well....you probably do think that. Yeah, the sanctions caused quite a few leaks in the Penn State boat. Plenty of time was spent bailing water just to stay afloat, and great efforts were made to plug the leaks. Not all the leaks got plugged right away, but the ship moved ahead. Pretty good damn job overall.

That's not accurate, and I'm not sure why you keep saying this because it's been pointed out to you to be inaccurate multiple times. Penn State recruited Cabinda and Reeder as linebackers in 2014, Bowen, Cooper, and Daiquan Kelly as linebackers in 2015, and Brown in 2016. And that's not even including Farmer from 2014 who bounced between linebacker and safety from the time he arrived on campus before finally settling in at what the staff always thought was his natural position in 2016.
