Personally, I think someone who has been villified by talk show hosts - as has been DeSantis - would be crazy to go on national tv with those same people.
I do expect some statement from Whoopie, joy or one of the other extremists, declaring that DeSantis refused to come on the show to defend his positions. It's the old "he's chicken" game.
Of course DeSantis could invite individual hosts to come to florida and meet with a hand picked group of floridians who would explain why they like the ideas of open schools, parental decisions on masks wearing in schools, not allowing gender affirming propaganda in k-3rd grade etc. etc. and ask the hosts to explain why they are against such policies.
