I read in the transcript of Franklin's most recent presser that he was applying to the NCAA for an unprecedented second-consecutive redshirt year for Fries just to (and I quote) "really piss off a certain Rivals.com poster"... NOW it all makes sense!
Word now coming from inside, is that Fries playing in the Rose Bowl is "a very real possibility"...

I've been down on St John in the USVI since last Thurs heading back to Chicagoland tomorrow afternoon and getting Fonzie back Wed morning.
Wed afternoon I'm grabbing some good desert(s) and heading to my "snuggler" recliner (1 1/2 people wide.....or 1 people and 1 basset hound wide) and watching the PSU - Wiscy game for the first time.
Having to listen to the game via the internet Sat night was, for 28 minutes, well, hard to describe.....I just hope my knee replacement surgery (12/21) isn't that painful!
And, despite the distance, my contempt for our BOT, the NCAA, the "Committee" and Delany / Big 10(14) did not waiver for one second and, in fact, has only grown stronger. May they all rot in hell.
