Kickoff return was great, but he lost a lot of yards on his own trying to do the impossible.
Sadly, Barrett may have won it.

I wouldn't have an issue inching Barrett above Saquon based on that performance. He was flawless, but put more of Barkley's performance on an OL outmatched vs. best DL in country.Sadly, Barrett may have won it.

Probably easier for Barrett to lose it the rest of the way though. Schedule lightens up considerably for PSU while OSU still has to deal with Iowa, MSU and Michigan.
PSU can respond well next week and get back on track.
dude, look at his last 5-6 games - Barrett has earned his spot in the top 3 with his play.U r already believing the media narrative.

SB is a running back. PSU has no running game.Maybe but he alone changed the entire structure of OSU's kickoff.
They were scared shitless of him.
Yes. We will now be a media afterthought and so will he. He will finish 3rd or worse.Kickoff return was great, but he lost a lot of yards on his own trying to do the impossible.

If you take a hard look at SB's numbers, they just aren't Heisman level. He benefits greatly from throwing the kick return numbers in. He was not a factor in the last 40 minutes of the biggest game of the year. He is amazingly talented, but the numbers aren't there.

33 of 39 passing is pretty d*mm good.U r already believing the media narrative.
Plenty of football left for Barkley to win it or Barrett to lose it. Barkley winning it has always been a long shot though because he plays for Penn State....just look at all the other Penn State Heisman winners. Whichever of the top 5 gets the hottest through November will win it.Kickoff return was great, but he lost a lot of yards on his own trying to do the impossible.
And 4 of those 6 incompletions were drops!33 of 39 passing is pretty d*mm good.
no. he will be fine. say say has the "it" factor.Kickoff return was great, but he lost a lot of yards on his own trying to do the impossible.

Next week is huge. Can’t have a let down. A loss in the last 3 games of the season would be a massive...massive let down.
I agree that the TFLs are not Barkley’s fault, but people won’t see it that way... it will hurt his chances for the Heisman. The only way he wins the Heisman now is if he gets 200 yards rushing per game against the remaining opponents.No. The yards Saquon lost behind the LOS had a whole lot more to do with poor play calling and blocking than anything Saquon might have done or not done.
